I just received my copy today also! I am about halfway through another book called "A Dog's Purpose", so I will be starting on "Little Birdies" in a couple days. Hope it's a good one!

Oh my!! Looks like you are going to have to get real creative to keep "Houdini" from escaping. It's really amazing what they are able to accomplish when they want to! Glad you were home, wouldn't that be mess if you were not. You may actually have to "lock" Gryphon up!

I read Conversations with Cosmo and Alex & Me, I totally enjoyed both of those and I am always looking for more parrot stories to read. Besides being a "birdnut", I am a "booknut"! This will be a great thread, I hope others will reply with great birdy stories they have read! I am still waiting for my copy of "Little Birdies" to arrive, I will give an update on that later.

I ordered a book at Amazon the other day titled "Little Birdies" by Anthony Lewis. I am not much of a sci-fi fan & I'm totally against genetically altered animals, but this sounds like it may be an entertaining read! I should have it any day & I will let you all know if it's a thumbs up or down!

I believe these are Hills pics, right? They are beautiful birds! I had a b & g many, many years ago when I was in college. He was an awesome bird. I still miss him. Thanks for sharing these photos!

Thanks for watching Biscottis videos Jan. I really enjoy hearing all the different grey voices- all so unique! I especially like the ones from across the pond with their lovely accent. Biscotti's is sweet, I love it first thing in the morning when he sees me he says the most heart melting "HI", gotta love these special ones!!

This was actually a cheater batch of Beak Appetit, I usually make a mash that seems to have everything but the kitchen sink in it, but I'll occasionaly use a package of Beak Appetit if I don't have time to make a homemade mash.

I was getting a batch of birdy mash ready to freeze, well guess who had to come & inspect? Yup, Biscotti, quality control inspector! He totally abuses his position & then says get that #*!@" camera out of here!!!

I have the stereo on all day, a little TV in the evenings. Biscotti goes about his business chatting, playing,eating, dozing regardless of the music. I don't know if he likes my singing or not, he usually laughs when I sing! Oh, well. I always leave the stereo on when I leave also, I think he likes it.

It is amazing how fast they learn to associate the word "poop" with the act. It always cracks me up how after they poop they look to see it! Not sad at all, just a little bird brained. I love it!

Here are a couple new videos of Biscotti. The first one he is chatting away, saying his newest phrase "I'm Special", along with a slew of other stuff, okie doke, I love it!, look at that, be right back, good bird, bad bird etc... He calls himself Cott-Cott or Cotter so you will hear that alot! In the second video he sneezes & blesses himself & coughs alot!
