i have heard that as beautiful as these cages are they are not worth the money and not made all that well./ You would think if they are going to ask so much that one would get a good quality cage.

I no the palm oil is good for our birds but i have had no luck feeding it to my birds even hiding it they find it and wont eat.((

Welcome how did we miss each other, we just moved from Katy to Sugar land. I have been into birds my entire life it seems and am always looking for new bird friends that are local. We started a little club kinda sorta where we try to get together monthly or so and either make toys together or bake birdie stuff. If you interested we need to add you to our group.

My green wing is terrible when it comes to food so at dinner time i put them back in there cages so we can enjoy our dinner. I tried making him a plate of what we are eating but it did not work he wants to see you pick it from your plate. My next bird never joined us when we have meals and he does not care about food at all while we are eating. Just a bad habit that we started and like with the dogs not much you can do to change it i think.

The heavy ceramic bowls sure solved my problem. WHen i get new cages the first thing i do is exchange the stainless for ceramic.

Hello Jim welcome to the forum.

That has always been my experience also with this chop. You go threw all the trouble of finding the best ingredients and then all the work and they barely touch it. A group of us girls got together yesterday and made chop and the same thing i had to flush the lot down the drain barely touched. Sigh
