This is a dog toy i bought at Petsmart and added my blocks etc.

Marine rope at Walmart. If you get stuck just let me know i am always around.

This was was simple just drill holes around the halved coconut and thread blocks etc and make knots.

You can do it believe me, when i started this i could not do anything. Cutting blocks and drilling holes in basically all you need to learn. I watched a lot of DIY stuff on tv. When you are ready i will help you step by step just let me know. You can do it trust me.

This is my biggest toy ever. Measures 45 inches and i used mainly stuff i already had 3 bells, chain, bamboo thing from an old toy, blocks i colored not even $1, some old mop scraps from another project.Also leather left over from another project. Let me know if anyone needs more details.

Yes i did and it was no fun either. I am tired of seeing raw wood. Plus it had to have been the most cold two days while i did all that. Okay now help me out what are we going to do with all this mess, lol:cheer:

Thought i would tease you all. This is what i have done so far. Now what on earth can i do with all of this, lol

The hula hoops are hanging from the ceiling yes. I make the ceiling protectors out of pvc so they dont tear up the sheet rock.

Thank you all again, i am just in a bad mood lately i guess been in bed for a month and half and as you can probably see i like to be busy. Monday was one of my worst days i was thinking of just selling up everything and just keeping my Red since he is the worst mama's boy ever. If he does not see me for a full day i think he would stop breathing. I am feeling a little better today and at least am not having to take the strong pain killers so maybe my mood will change soon.

SEEMS LIKE I HAVE TO START OVER TO ADD PICTURES. YOU GUYS ARE SO NICE, MY ROOM IS REALLY NOT THAT GREAT, JUST SOME THINGS THROWN TOGETHER. I DID DO ONE NEAT THING I GOT PEEL AND STICK PICTURE FRAMES AND ADDED THERE BABY PICTURES TO THE WALL. ENJOY.

i had brackets made i will take a picture later and post it. Yeah as far as clean up now my bird room is soo much cleaner. I use to have to move all those cages so i could get under and behind them now i dont have to do that. Also cleaning the bottom trays are so much easier.

Sure Judy just let me know if you need more help. I have to stay busy and this helps me relax. Afterward you get to see if they actually like it or not. I guess i should get a job doing something like this, now if only i knew what?:woohoo:

Just thought i would show off my bird room and some of my birds. Most of the toys i made and ofcourse the decorating is never done i am always adding or changing.

The plastic things i call J's they come in 3 different sizes. I just join 2 together to make the heart so you need a total of 4. I found them at Lowes by the pvc area there is also copper wiring etc in the aisle. They were like 20c each or something like that.

Semi easy let me know if you all want the instructions on how to make it.

I am having such a hard time posting my pictures, i have tons of stuff i made etc but cannot get use to using photo bucket. Why cant one just upload like on some of the other sites. saddddddddddddddd i would love to show off my babies.

I am still trying to figure everything out. My name is Carol and i am a stay at home mom with 2 sons, 6 birds and 2 dogs. I love making toys and treats for my birds so needless to say you will see my how to's quiet a bit

The top thing was purchased wrong for a home project and i was to lazy to take it back to Home depot. I think it is used for toilets we were doing tile and had to take the toilet out/ You will find it in the pvc section and it gave me the holes to separate the balls. Good luck if you need more info just let me know.

This is not really a play stand more just something for my bird to go to when he no longer wants to be held or needs to go bathroom. Everything folds up nicely after wards and then you have a nice picture display to look at instead of dirty play stands. <br><br>Post edited by: carolz7, at: 2009/02/04 19:11
