Sorry guys dont mean to be rude but if i could do it over agian i would just have a room full of each and every amazon. Depending on your life style i guess but i need every bit of laughter i can find and having an amazon sure has given me that and so much more. There is never a dull moment with an amazon. I have owned just about each and every bird and i can tell you from my experience amazons are absolutely the greatest. What i did wrong when owning african greys i think i paired them up right away and that took away from me bonding with them. So i did not have as good an experience with my greys after i did that. I still do own a timneh whom i love very dearly and raised from a baby.

Now this is a really good shower. Check us out we look enraged or crazy.

Oh now that is very nice like the idea of something small like what you came up with. Very good. The plywood is that a big 4 x 8 sheet that you had to buy or can you get it in smaller pieces. I sure do not want to struggle with a big sheet of plywood. Let me know please on the wood. Thanks.

I would like to introduce you all to my Owen. What a charactor. I cannot imagine my bird room with out him. He is so funny. I dont know where to start on him. I have had him since he was 3 weeks old, hand fed him etc. He was not my number 1 choice but at the last minute just before shipping off his brothers and sisters he became the chosen one. I was hand feeding for a lady. Got a bunch of baby double yellow heads and picked out my favorite. Let her know the band number etc what i was going to keep and then the night before shipping my baby dissapeared. Lordy, lordy we went threw the entire house almost 5ooo sq. ft. Upstairs, downstairs, in the trash cans i thought maybe by accident he flew in the paper mess and was in the trash can. ALl night long i worried myself sick. We could not find this bird. I was not going to alarm the lady i figured i would just have to pay for the baby and get nothing in return. Well the next morning at 10am, i am suppose to leave for the airport with the babies at 10.30 here comes this bird walking into the living room. Well i almost died. My son felt at the last minute lets not keep the chosen one and lets pick Owen instead. He figured if this bird pulled this kind of tricks now it would be a constant concern. So we went for the next bird and that was Owen. I never ever think of him as second best he is the greatest and best bird ever. He will make you so mad and then have you crying with laughter. I am trying out something new in my bird room with the ceiling i am so tired of the blue and then my umbrella cockatoo has been eating on the sheet rock previously, she just loves to pull the paper off the sheet rock. Anyway i have solved that problem but my blue new patches are not looking so good so i am attempting this. Let me know what you all think. Is it pretty dumb looking? My feelings wont be hurt. I will still add a piece of wood across where the paper meets and then i will paint the screws yellow so they don't stick out like that.

This thing was looking so raggedy so i added fabric strips and think it came out pretty nice. I had it covered with rope previously and it started to unravel and really needed a face lift. I am in a saving mode trying to salvage old stuff. The last picture is the before way back when i had just made it. I am running out of ideas for toy names sorry you all. Anyway i came up with this one. Went to a bird show yesterday and bought some odds and ends which i have added to my wifle ball mess. I thought it would be in a million pieces by now but it is still holding. Enjoy.

No i am not i am in Texas. Thanks for trying though. I ended up getting some stuff at Dr.FostersandSmith. They are pretty good on their prices, could be better but i saved on shipping. They seem to have halved there shipping fees which is great only $5.99 no matter how much more i added to the order. Previous orders were almost triple. So that is a good thing. Anyone out there needing stuff go check them out.

I hope this is where i should place this i am looking for your favorite online store to purchase toys and bird supplies, if anyone has some i would appreciate your input. I have spent hours looking and cannot find some of the things i am looking for. Mostly foraging holders treat holders etc. Thanks

very very nice cage i bet that set you back quiet a bit. Did you purchase it online and if yes could you post the link i sure would like to look into getting a couple for my birds. love the feeders also that is going to be great for clean up.

Raw hide ladder quick and easy cost only $5.00 had the beads and blocks already. Just colored the rawhide and bought rope to string it.

Thank you all so much it is a great accomplishment and i feel absolutely wonderful now just to loose that last 20 pounds and i will be done. Hopefully i have inspired a few people that is all i want to accomplish. We can live such better lives by being healthy no reason to be on those medications and be uncomfortable. I did mine all natural and am proud of it.

Oh thank you my dear and please dont be jealous that is not the intent. I just want my babies to be happy. I got that storage container at the dollar store what it was just before school started so it was with the school supplies kind of. I liked it because it screwed close so if you wanted it closed it would stay close. Just put some stainless wire threw it added some beads or whatever i did and stuffed it with treats and paper shredding.

Please let me know if i can help you in any way Judy. I am so passionate about this subject i want to get a job doing this for a living, there are so many people that just don't know how easy it is to get off all those medications and live healthier all you have to do is want it bad enough.

I might not look that bad as far as being fat but i was 226 pounds which was terrible for me. I think loosing weight should never be about missing meals i eat 6 x a day and i am never hungry you have to eat small but often on your meals. I use to try and see how long i can go without food but none of that works really. Your body just reacts worse when you do that. My meals are of course no starches like pasta etc no breads which was extremely hard i could live on bread alone. Most important part is to log your food you will be so surprised the answer is right there. My first few days i kept on reaching for food or snacks not because i was hungry but it was out of habit when you start having to record each and every bit you think twice about eating that item. It is hard but hey we got to do something.
