Does anyone feed this brand of bird food to there birds. I heard or read something about there being some kind of problem with the food. Is this true or do i have my story up side down? Appreciate some update on this please

Well i finally got my setup outside. Went to Tractor supply and got this one for under $400. I put my 2 macaws in it and it is plenty big for them for the moment. They do not fly around but at least they get some much needed sunshine and get to enjoy the outdoors. Seems like i cannot upload the pic at the moment will have to add it later when i can figure out how to do it. Sorry

Now that is amazing idea. Where did you get suction cups that actually work. I love pvc i told my kids i want to spend Christmas Day in a Homedepot just in the pvc isle. Dont buy any gifts just let me drool and dream about things i can make out of pvc. I hate how the employees are always bugging you to help you in that isle. Yet when you tell them what you are doing and if they have any suggestions on how to or whatever, they are usually clueless. So why even bother to tell them. Dont interrupt me when i am in the freaking pvc isle, lol

Here is what i am thinking of and i hope that the powder coated welded wire will be fine. It is shinny not the dull looking kind like the fencing is made of. I am going to get a kennel or dog run not sure exactly what it is called. The one i found at tractor supply comes with a top for sun protection. A friend of mine got a batting cage but i am not sure if i can trust going that route. So far it is working out fine for her but i am paranoid. I will post pics just as soon as i get it all set up and ready

So what have you decided on the outdoor aviary? I am struggling with exactly the same thing. I am also paranoid about birds escaping> Would love to know where you are with this project at this time and pics of course if you have done anything. thanks

Thanks you all you made my day. Yes i bought this at Tractor Supply. I was not sure if this pattern was new or they just got new stock. I have been using the vet wrap for years but never seen this one before. The bucket was also from them. They also had zebra and tiger stripe so it must be new. I guess we will be seeing a lot of exciting new ideas.

Just completed a brand new play gym for my birds. I think it came out pretty good. I love this new vet wrap i found today. Made it in less than 3 hours

I started out with greys you have to own a macaw it is the cherry on the cake or whatever you want to call it. I know this is mostly a grey site so i dont want to get in trouble here going on and on about my macaw. I did spoil myself and got a blue and gold 6 months ago so far he is just the most adorable loving thing i have ever owned. Now if they could all just get along.

You should not complain about being bitten your beak is way too small. I have a greenwing that will just get into wanting to kill me, dont know what i did other than love him. Now that is a bite you need to see. Not too mention all those tiny pinches that end up looking like you are an abused person. Just thought i would put that out there. Wish i could help i buy mine locally where all the breeders go. Petco prices i could not afford. With my lot they will eat you out of house and dollars. Does Dr.fostersand smith i am sure they ship anywhere not so? You might want to check them out. Plus they have this great new low shipping fee. Good luck hopefully you will find something soon.

Karolina well post some pictures of your room please. Would love to see what you have done. I do the same with the dollar store stickers i just picked these up earlier this week the pink butterflies but i am always looking to see what is new and i will add as i go along. Too funny us bird people.

Well here is another example of how my brain works. Yesterday i was cleaning out the bathroom cabinets and came upon this shower drain which was bought wrong during the remodel and now it is just too late and probably only a few dollars so not worth taking back to Home depot. Anyway i got a mop from the dollar store and some blocks and ofcourse the drain and here it is. Dont no if it will be a hit or not have not hung it up yet. Enjoy.

Judy you are to kind. Thanks though i enjoy making things in my next life i will come back as a man so i can do the heavier things. Strength is always what i am lacking the tools are so heavy they are made for men not woman so it gets frustrating but i am not complaining just want lighter tools for the gals out there.::angry:
