I would just ignore the swearing and not try to encourage it. Warn any guests as well and tell them not to show any reaction for example laughing etc as your grey will lap up all the attention and do it all the more! Try and distract with another word maybe when they use the F and B words. Hopefully they will get fed up soon and move on to another saying. I bet the utilities man got a shock:P

Mine also eat Zupreem fruiblend but also will eat Harrisons as well. They love the fruitblend but like Marie said, they like to pick and chose their colours sometimes.

Spence, I really feel she has hit the terrible twos. One of my greys is the same age and we are going through different issues but I do believe they change at this stage. Try and ride through it as I know you love her to bits and I really think you would regret rehoming her in the long run. I know its hard work and can be quite heartbreaking seeing your baby change, support is here for you and help if anyone can give you any new advice. I hope you can work things out, good luck and keep us posted:)

I would try and get someone to stay Julie if possible or board them somewhere. Personally I wouldnt leave mine overnight unless it was an emergency. Try and ring round vets and see if they offer a boarding facility, Marie used one before on here and she said it was brilliant. I wish I lived nearer and could help you out, hope you find a solution and can get away for a break.

Aww Julie, keep your chin up! You will just be having one of those weeks (hopefully!) All birds can have their off days and get grouchy and sometimes a bit nippy. I went through this with Keeko a couple of weeks ago and now all is back to normal. As for laptops, my lovely teenage daughter has broken mine so I have pinched Daves while he is away, dont know what I will do when he gets back lol. A big fiendly hug coming from up North:kiss:

Its difficult to say what size he will be, but from reading your posts he is a large grey! Remember when he fledges he could lose 10-15% of his body weight. Keep track of his weight as a guideline. Will you be getting him when he is fully weaned? The greys are beautiful on the video, makes me all broody again wanting another baby with the lovely dark eyes.
