1. Snowy is adorable, please keep us updated with his progress and lots of pictures:)
2. What a lovely introduction Amanda. Baby sounds as though he has settled into your home and family really well, cant wait to hear more about him:)
3. Awww Pat, that was wonderful to watch! I was just thinking, I bet they were a handful to look after when they were growing up! They look so mischevious lol. Chatot is so beautiful, makes me want a bigger bird now! ( only joking!!!!) No room left for another....
4. I think we are all aware of the possible dangers so we choose to do what is right for our fids to keep them safe. I dont use any air freshners (which I really do miss) as well as scented candles, febreeze, shake and vac etc, its just not worth the risk. I also know other people nearby with birds who do use these products and their birds are ok but Im afraid I wont be risking my fids health because someone elses birds are ok. Who knows what the damage can be long term? We are not vets just very careful parronts.
5. What a great picture of Rishi! I love the Atom it is brilliant! Is Rishi still a little nervous? I have something similiar coming next week for my three, maybe not as big, I hope they will all like it:) Thanks for sharing your picture with us.
6. Thats a great picture! Looks like one of our Sat night parties lol.

Hi, I'm Tango

She is beautiful! Love the pictures:kiss:
8. Congratulations Brittany, Im so pleased for you. I am sure things will work out just fine for you and you will learn to divide your time between both babies. Like the others have said, dont leave them both unattended and supervise at all times, introduce baby items to your grey as I when you buy them so many items wont seem as alien when the baby arrives. I wish you well and a great future:)
9. yeah, I would keep him near at all times as well. It was great in summer, I would take one of mine to BBQ's and they loved the company and different scenery. I think its great to try and socialise our Greys and show them pastures new. This is different with all greys though, one of mine is very wary of strangers and different surroundings. Hope you have a great time.
10. Just wanted to let my good friends know I am back online with the forum (at last) and wanted to say a big thankyou to those people who kept in touch! It was great to hear from you and keep me posted on what has been happening on the forum. We have had a nightmare with laptops and a certain teenage daughter in the last few weeks lol. I may be laughing now but wasnt a few weeks ago when she broke my laptop:evil: Please let me know about any photos you have posted I would love to see, any new babies you would love to share with me etc, it will be great to catch up with everything and cant wait to speak with any new members who have joined while I have been offline. Its good to be back:kiss:
11. I allow two of my birds on my shoulder, one I dont trust as he gets nippy and will go to bite ears etc. Its all about reading body language again, what mood the bird is in.Shoulders are acceptable but bites can and will happen. I once took a nasty bike to the cheek off one of my babies which was totally unexpected. Just make sure your baby girl is trained to be removed from your shoulder if you need to.
12. Just a thought, are you getting your baby from a breeder? You could ask them to wean your baby on to the preferred diet you would like, it would make things easier for you to get your baby to eat pellets etc.. Mine all eat Harrisons Potency coarse, seed, Zupreem fruiblend. They have a variety of mixed fruit when I feed it, veggies, pulses and pasta. It can be trial and error to find out foods your baby will like, the trick is to keep offering and be patient. I bet you cant wait to get your new baby:)
13. My greys mainly talk in my husband Daves voice, even if its a word or sentence they have learnt from me. Just recently though, my daughter has been talking to Charlie the eldest grey like something crossed between something off the Gremlins and the Grudge! He has picked this voice up really easy and it sounds really scary:ohmy: They seem to love different accents and love when plenty of expression is included, it seems to make things more interesting for them. It looks as though Daves voice is the favourite though and is what they all use.
14. My three love their pommie seeds. I buy them from the veg dept in the local Asda already done for you in trays (so much easier!) I dont mind too much about the mess as they really enjoy them.
15. Great update Julie. It sounds like they are accepting each other really well. The smoke alarm is a nightmare in our house! Try listening to three greys all doing this at the same time:lol: Ear plugs are definetly needed when making toast!!! Have you posted any recent photos I may have missed Julie? I would love to see them. Thanks for a great update:)
16. Pat, Im gone for a little while and look what I come back to lol, what can I say but Beautiful!!! I cant believe the size, he is huge!!! You are such a great person Pat and are gonna give a great home to this gentle giant, I cant wait to see more pictures. Congratulations Pat, I hope you have a great future together x
17. Dave was at work Janet, but when Charlie calls, I come running lol. He has me wrapped around those little Talons!!! Its funny how Ana Grey loves to say a phrase as well, we find it much easier to teach him a phrase or sentence than single words, he seems to enjoy the challenge more and just loves expression!
18. Yes, Ive reported this person to Penny all ready. Honestly get on dating sites not a parrot forum!!!! Its not a pick up joint lol:P

Post edited by: casper, at: 2009/11/03 19:40
19. That bite looked nasty Dave! Sorry to see your finger like that! What can I say about those babies! They are just beautiful!!!!!! Keep the pictures coming, its great to see them in colour, they are just adorable x
20. Amy, welcome to the forum. I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your beloved Sonny, you must be heartbroken. Cher must be so lost without her mate, I hope in time she will grieve and get over her loss. Their baby is absolutely adorable! I too would keep him and hold on to this little bit of Sonny and Cher together. Im glad you decided to join us, there is aways someone here to listen.
21. Its great to hear he has put on some weight and also that he has feathers coming through. Thanks for all the lovely picturess:)
22. What a couple of cuties! Lovely pictures:)
23. On Saturday night, the kids went trick or treating and when they came back they were so excited and said that someone in the next street had a B&G and let them in for a look. Imagine how excited I was, I have no one who I know nearby who owns a parrot. Never mind one of my dreambirds. Well, what could I do but put my coat on and go and investigate for myself lol. I knocked at the door and they thought i was trick or treating:laugh: I explained my love for parrots and asked if I could have a little look at Pippa, she was beautiful! They have only had her for 3 months, she is 15 years old and a beauty, very tame and was not at all scared around strangers. She is out all day and their room is a modified bird room just like mine, it was lovely to see. They have set up a Facebook page under Pippa parrot and are trying to get 1000 friends for her before christmas if anyone is interested in joining. Its nice to know there are neighbours with the same passion. ( I wonder if they are as birdie mad as I am)
24. What lovely pictures! hes really enjoying that sandwich! I always give mine some if its bird friendly as well, they love to join me for lunch:)
