Greyson should have been to the vet ASAP if you have seen something like a bone as well as some bleeding! When you say it looks like a bone is this sticking out of his chest area? You seriously need him checked by an Avian vet immediatley. You would certainly be able to tell the difference between a feather and a bone! Caroline.

Hiya Linda and welcome to the forum. Im so sorry to hear that Silverstarr is plucking. Plucking can be caused by medical or behavioural issues so we will need some more information so we can eliminate certain things and try and help. Has Silverstarr been to an Avian vet recently for a full wellness check just to see there are no medical problems? There are lots of experienced members on here who have dealt with birds with plucking problems, I am sure you will get some great advice off everyone. You have taken the first step by posting. I hope someone can offer some good advice. Caroline.

Some of the latest back backs look really good though. A carrier or harness is the safest way. Please update and let us know what you find in your search for a suitable carrier. Caroline.

Well, I managed to get a cargo net for the birds:) Thanks everyone for the great ideas! The birds were all really curious but baby Jasper was the first one to go for it! Just ordered some more Mardii Gras buckets from Northern Parrots and gonna get some more toys on this afternoon.

How sad. I hope they are returned, someone, somewhere must know about the whereabouts of these babies. I will pray for their return.
