I don't know what Tyco likes to watch. I don't watch much television I do turn it on for the birds sometime when I go out but I don't know what they watch.

Yes those clothes probubly would be benificial to birds that pluck I seen allot of birds that wear flight suits so that they can't pluck. You are doing very well with your baby and if he/she wants to eat on his own by all means let him he's getting to the age now where he should be down to 2 feedings a day the morning feeding and the night feeding and as long as he's eating enough during the day he shouldn't need the middle feeding watch him for the next few days and feel his crop quite often to see how much he has in there before you feed him when he start really refusing to take his formula thats when if time to drop one feeding. I'm so glad this vet turned out ok I'm sure you will feel alot better knowing that you baby is in the hand of someone that knows what they are talking about, I really like my vet also she is so good with my birds. I took my AAmazon in for her yearly check up she has gained a few grms latley and I wanted to see what my vet thought and what I should and shouldn't feed her she has gained 40 grams over the last 6 months. So she can't have anything that you can make oil out of corn, peanuts sumflower seed you get the Idea. She definatly not going to be a happy bird she loves her peanuts.

I would love an adventure pack for Tyco Fergie is harness trained but I can't see Tyco ever allowing me to put a harrness on her. I have a smalltravel cage that I take them to the vet in and I've used it for a couple of outings it works well but the adventure pack just seem so cool for them.

HEY THERE I have way to many birds also as you will see by my signature. I just added another African grey to my flock s/he is 8 weeks old I hand feeding him/her welcom to our forum your going to just love it here we are just one big Grey loving family.

I have a couple birds that absolutly refuse to poop in their cages I have them out most of the day so its not a problem but On the nights I work they do hold a bit longer than normal

Your baby is so cute looks so much like my baby I'm just curious how much does your baby weigh now and is he still on 3 feedings a day. Shady weigh 480gr with an empty crop. and is still on 3 feedings a day but its getting more difficult to feed him his first feeding of the day and he won't eat all of it he likes to nibble on broccoli and apples red and yellow sweetpeppers and walnuts that I chop up real little he doesn't eat much iust sort of plays with his food but I gues he's getting a little so my vet says anyway. I worry about every thing with him its like have a child

my Birds won't eat harrison's my vet said if they won't eat harrison's feed them Zupreem that is the only one that is just as good

Tyco calls me mom and i always answer yes tyco moms here. If she wants me to come to her she says mom but really whiny like and the longer I take to come the whinier she getslol

you could talk to your vet and see if they allow time out for the birds I know my vet does many times I've been in there and the birds that are being boarded are sitting with the staff I would ask.

Those are very cute and different. Did you notice that not one of those birds was an African grey. Mabie Our greys are just to smart to wear clothes. Do you mean clothes for your bird or clothes for you that have birds on them Why on earth would a bird need clothes when they have beautiful feathers to wear. I'm always telling my birds what beautiful dresses they have on.

I'm glad you all enjoyed my little vent on Shady's pooping habits. I love the litttle booger but this week garbage bill is going to be a whopper We are only allowed 2 garbage bags a week for free then it 2 dollars for every extra bag we put out. the way I'm going through newspapers and paper towels there's no telling how many bags I'm going to have to pay for eeeek it better all be worth it he better be the sweetest little parrot on the face of the earth. Just kidding I'd do anything for him he's my baby uncondionaly forever. {Love-0002006D}

It doesn't seem to matter what I do to keep Shadys cage clean and poop free as soon as I put him in there he poops. I can wait til he just poops before I put him back and he will poop again just to chrisen his clean cage I have never seen a bird poop as much as this little guy does I go through so much newpaper I need my own recycling company. Where does he get all that poop from that he can poop and then 2 seconds later poop again and if I clean up the poop that he just did he gets mad at me and scolds and poops again the litte bogger I should of called him pooper.:laugh: :blink: :laugh:

Greys do not like change and right now she is going through a big change her whole life has been turned upside down she's in a new enviroment with a new owner please be patient and let her take it all in, She needs time to decide weather its a safe place like the others said talk to her give her treats. let her know that she's ok and that you want to be her friend she will come around when she is ready

I think its fine as long as the grate is clean and your bird isn't standing in poop all night.

Gosh he's cute he looks so much like my Shady How about Akira its a unisex name and It means Intelegence. Or Cassidy I don't know what it means but I like the name for either boy or girl

Yea its worth it I drive an hour to get to my vet she's awesome.
