Its so wonderful to watch the birds in flight zipping around the house playing tag and catch me if you dan. Adaya and Fergie are by far my best flyers its just amazing to watch them in the air. Tyco is trying soso hard to learn how and everyday he will take a short flight from his cage to Fergies cage just to hang out with his buddy. Its so sad that he is now almost 7 yrs old and still cannot fly well. It make me so mad when people clip the birds before they have properly fledged.

Well Chatot and Tyco my Grey have become pretty good friends for the most part in the video of the birdy in the window. the cage Chatot climbed up on was Tyco's cage not his and there was no aggression from Tyco at all and he was also on top of his cage at the time. Chatot is a very easy going bird and is not at all aggressive with any of the other pets in the house he will back down and walk away if they confront him. He's the biggest of them all and has no need to back down from anybody but he does

I just bought myself a new cam corder again Adaya bit the one I bought a few months ago and broke the screen. So I bought a new one and heres some test vids I did they are dark and not very good but I'll get better at it I'm sure. Oh Judy he is really a beauty you really must share more pics with us If I had a bird that was a beautiful as Sunny I'd be showing him off constantly(and I do lol) wow I like his little rosy cheeks what a awesome ray of Sunshine you have there.

we did the feathers for Adaya but I got my Vet to do the test for her But I was taking her in for a check up any way. I can't see paying 110. + 20. for gas just to get a dna test done. I'm going to try the nail thing again. and If I can't do it I'll take him/her to the Groomers and get him to do it for me its only 10. dollars to have the nails clipped. and I'm sure he won't mind clipping one a little shorter or pulling a few feathers for me.

I ordered a coule DNA kits for my birds now all I have to do is figure out the best way to get some blood for the test. I just feel so guilty about haveing to hurt one of my baby's on purpose. does anybody know the least painless way to get a blood sample.

Beautiful bird it would be devastating to see such a beautiful creature to become exstict lets hope that the breeding programs can get those numbers up.

He is a beautiful little bird I love the colours in him Parrolets make wonderul pets they are such feisty little guy's they are the biggest Parrot there is it just stuffed inside a little body. congradulations on your new family member. I also hope he settles in quickly for you. You bet those little guy's can bite I would much rather take a Macaw bite any day than a bite from a smaller bird. That is so sweet great video the Conure sure do love their bath time don't they My Macaws are the same way I'm sure they would love to stay wet 24/7 if they could its good to hear that Jake has finally decided that he would like to be part of your flock he sure is a pretty little thing.

Pretty birdies i love Quaker's I never owned one though I don't know why because I think they are adorable. You Merlin is beautiful I love the Too's but My allergy don't.

Its nothing I can't deal with I just have to move all the stuff out of that room its a bedroom and has all the stuff bedeooms have. I'll have to call mcc or value village to come and get it all because I have no where to store it. Its the perfect room though its got lamanate flooring and a nice big window that faces south so they can have lots of natural light there is a screan on the window so I can even open the window to let the natural light in.I guess thats going to be my project for the next 4 days I'm off work until thursday so its good.

Darius has been a little hormonal for the last couple weeks and is doing thing more like a girl bird rather than a boy. S/he has been Going into the bathroom and pulling the towel off the rack and tearing it apart. when s/he is in there s/he won't let anyone enter. If I shut the door then s/he camps out side the door and won't let any one in except me. I think s/he is in love with my GCC because s/he sits on his cage for hours chatting away to him. Darius has never bit me up until this last week and has bit me hard twice when I tryed to get him to stepup off of Sprouts cage. My 14yr old daughter is afraid of him and this makes things very difficult. Darius sences her fear and will not let her into the bathroom. I'm going have to figure out something else to do with him I may just have to finally get around to turning the spare room into a bird room. This is somethimg I've been meaning to do for a whole year. Now I don't have much choice it has to be done.

Wgat a great story he really knows how to get what he wants doesn't he Tyco's the same way thougb he ask for thinks by name and won't let up till he gets them Tyco prefers Graham crackers he calls them his cookies.

I had a 3 week old Cockateil dropped off on my doorstep once he had a note saying I manage to find homes for the rest of my flock but this little guy needs speicial care as he is not weaned yet. I have to leave to country and cannot take him with me. I saw all your beautiful birds and just knew you could give him the perfect home he was a white face Cockateil and what a sweetie he turned out to be. I wrote this because there are many reasons why people have to give up their beloved pets and we should not critisize what we don't know. He is very pretty Erica I'm sure with all the love and attention he will get fromyou he will be a beautiful fully feathered bird in no time I love his coloring.

Hi every one I posted on off topics to explain my absents. So hows every ones flock I see I have allot to catch up to do holy smokes. every room has 20 or more new threads for me to read. HEE HEE My flock is doing wonderfully Chatot is looking better and better all the time and of course Darius is his sweet self Tyco & Adaya are great and so is Fergie we had a wonderful Xmas and we are looking forward to the New year Chatot has turned into a real out and about bird he just love to go for car rides and meet new people when ever he see me getting ready to go some where he starts bouncing up and down saying go bye-bye come on step up over and over its so cute. I'm still working on him and Darius becomeing friends its getting there slowly as long as I'm not actualy handleing one of them they get along OK but as soon as I Pick up Darius for a cuddle Chatot seems to think he can come and gets some cuddles also and Darius doesn't like that at all Darius thinks he has to protect me and will nip me first to let me know I have to move he doesn't hurt me its just a warning and I move and take him out of the sight of Chatot other wise I will be right in the middle of a one sided bird fight Chatot will back down from Darius he doesn't want to fight with any bird he has such a gentle nature with the other birds. I wish he was that Gentle with me he tends to get a little nippy which I'm sure will get better with time we are still building a relationship and he has always had a male companion before me so he does prefer men.
