This is what I've been busy doing cutting,drilling, colouring drying and building toys. that might last a couple days LOL then I have to do it all again. these toys are 20in long 15 inches wide and weigh about 5to6 lbs each Big bird need big toys. i do thik Chatot is getting prettier every day when I got him it looked lie he had been plucking his legs a bit but the bald spots are nicley filled in now and his feathers are starting to really shine its been 2 weeks last Sunday since I got him and he looks just so awesome Don't you think so too? Sorry I haven't been here much this guy has been kepping me busy maing toys for him but that should change in the next 2 week I ordered something special for him when it arrives I'll post a picture and I may never have to make another toy for him again. Very nice cage and your bird is beautiful I;m glad to here thing are going so well.

So cute so sweet I raised my Adaya from 5 weeks old so I know how in love you must be with that little darling have fun and enjoy her/him every minute and you will be rewarded with the most awesome companion you could ever ask for

I'm so glad you all enjoyed the video Iloved it also but now I've had the song stuck in my head for 3 days LOL Chatot is molting so his feathers aren't as nice as they could be. Tyco has never really liked wood block she always prefered things like grape vine balls and willow wreaths to chew. But since she has met Chatot she wants to do every thing Chatot does so I gave her a huge toy like the ones I buy for the macaws and she showed no fear of it at all she imediatly started to do exactly what Chatot was doing with his and I've been watching her if Chatot is biting a wood bead off his toy Tyco will find a bead on hers if its an alphabit block that Chatot is chewing the Tyco finds on on her toy to chew its so Cute I wonder if Tyco thinks she's a big huge Macaw LOL

He really is one pretty too she looks like she had a wonderful home and now she has another even better one what a lucky girl

Me too what she said can't wait to hear how he settles in and see some pics. I've never ever heard of a plucking Amazon they usually aren't plucker. He was abviously neglected and unhappy for a very long time. they are such wonderful birds I can't imagine anyone ignoring or neglecting one Fergie my amazon would not allow me to ignore her she would make such a ruckus. I love playing with her she is just so much fun

I'm so glad you enjoyed it When I watch the tears where running down my cheeks Iys so nice to have somethingkije this I wish I had a video like this for all my fids its like a visual baby book of the first few months of life. I going to have to wait awhile before I watch it again my heart just won't take all that love all at one time I getall emotional just thinking about it I'm just such a softy when it comes to my baby's. Maybe if I muted the song it would be eaiser to watch:lol: :blush:

Isn't it just a joy to have flighted birds Adaya loves it when She can follow me all over the house Fergie can be a total little brat if I don't watch her when she leaves the room. Tycos just a social buterfly she can't goto far so when she flys its usually just over to Fergies cage Fergie doesn't mind most of the time but she always has to let me know that Tycos on her cage again with a semi loud vocalization. thank goodness there isn't enough room for the Macaws to fly far but darius does do his share of walking around the house. I wouldn't have it any other way though the birds are so happy when they have their wings and if they are happy I'm happy

Pretty bird I love the Toos but My lungs don't their dust is just to heavy and to much for my alergys to deal with so I live through you and your Toos he's a very pretty fella I had a greater Citron Crested for a few weeks until I found the perfect home for him. Sprout my GCC and Raja My Irn went to live with my daughter because both of them where very bonded to her so when she moved she asked if she could have them and I said yes because they would have been very unhappy without her. Chatot is doing wonderful boy he sure can eat he eats 3 big bowls of fruits and veggis a day plus 8to 10 different nuts a few pellets and what ever I make for dinner LOL I can't believe how sweet he is he is just a baby and acts like one his previous owner said I should wear gloves to handle him until he get used to melol I've never worn gloves in my life with a bird and i wasn't about to start with him she also said he was a screamer. he obviously was a very unhappy bird when he was there. because he chats up a storm but he doesn't scream he steps up beautifully and just love his scritches I spent an hour or so last night pinching the tips of all the pin feathers on his neck and head poor baby had a million of them he laid in my lap and closed his eyes and just enjoyed every moment. I talk to his breeder via Email last night also and told him what a wonderful job he did with Chatot he said he almost kept him he said he had him for almost a year and it was very hard to give him up. he said it broke his heart when his previous owner told him that he had started screaming he said that he didn't think they new how to handle him at all and where intimadated by his size. I totally agree because everytime she emailed me she made refrance to how huge he was. his breeder is just so happy that he is now with me and that chatot is getting the proper care and love that he needs.Heres a picture of him and tyco about 3 feet apart from each other. I think Tyco likes him.

I live in the middle of nowhere so there isn't much todo way out here so she is home most of the time. Sometimes on Saturday night she will come with me so she can hang out in town with her friends while I'm at work they have kariioke at the comunity hall in the nearest town where I work so she likes to go to that with her friends

Omg they are just the cutest little things I've seen since My Adaya was just a wee one I just love baby birds thankyou for sharing these little beauties with us.

Ohpoor baby is missing her mama I hope you get well soon you need to be with her as much as she needs to be with you. I don't think I could stand to be away from my babys I'hope you get well I'll be praying for good news soon.

What an absolute doll I just adore Amazons they are just so much fun.

A friend of mine emailed me and she had a friend that had Chatot I think she was afraid of him or at least very intimadated by his size anyway she hadn't had him very long and she wanted to find him a home This bird was breed by one of the most respected breeders in BC if not Canada and I've spoke to his breeder on the phone about him he was the biggestand smartest out of a Clutch of 3 and was with him for quite a few months after he was weaned. I know many of this birds older siblings from different clutches over the years. He's a very prized bird indeed. any way she offered him to me for such a good deal I couldn't say no. I wouldn't have a hope of ever being able tobuy one from his breeder he gets a fortune for his birds. anyway he's now mine l His breeder said he was hatched somwhere around June 2008 he going to send me his hatch date by email his previous owner apperantly lost all his paper work when she move to Kitamat. anyway thats the story he charges 4500 dollars for his birds. I got Chatot for 1/3 that price how could I posibly turn him down he's simply stunning and boy he makes Darius look small.
