  1. HRH always lives up to the name!! Too cute.
  2. I agree, it could be that she wants more handfeeding and, also, that she wants more time with you. I gave my Grey both morning and evening feedings well into his 4th month. The morning one was rather small as I remember though. They do rub their beaks on you to show their love.
  3. Good for Gracie and you. Hope the improvements continue.
  4. Welcome home Felony! How did you come up with that name? Cute though it is.
  5. Great finds! Just be careful of those links. I have seen many reports of parrots getting their toes caught in the split. I only allow play with those when I am home. They are not in the cages.
  6. AWWWW she is a beauty!! Do you have any trouble getting her to come down from the light? I love the half asleep picture of her.
  7. Sure it is fun Ray! For Corky anyway! LOL
  8. Welcome!! Congrats on your baby. You baby not coming home until November is, I assume, to make sure she is abundance weaned. That is, her weaning will go at her pace, not to hurry the sale. IF this is true you have a great breeder! The cage is fine, though I might use the smaller one for the first few weeks at her new home. She will need a variety of toys and at least three different perches. A good pellet, though some don't feel these are that important if you can feed a wide variety of fresh foods. Again welcome and some pictures would be wonderful!!
  9. I am so sorry. Yes, Maalik is doing what he can to comfort you. Maalik, himself, may need some comforting from you too. I am sure he misses Bogart.
  10. WOW!! Prayers were answered!! This is the best news ever. Please let us know what the vet says, should you take him. Brutus, you are one very lucky young man!!
  11. Welcome~I agree, we love those baby grey pictures!
  12. Welcome! Looking forward to hearing more about your adventures with Smokey and Olaf.
  13. Happy Hatchday Ana Grey. It is only right that you are being spoiled - more than normal - today.
  14. Prayers being said. I, also, have been there. My baby was only gone 6 hours, but it was a lifetime!! Keep calling for him, but remember to listen too. Peanut was recovered when my daughter heard him calling.
  15. I covered when Peanut was a baby. The cage they are in now is much too large for me to cover - so I don't.
  16. Number 11 should also have an I don't know - I have never had Peanut DNA'ed so don't know if he is really a he! LOL
  17. If predators worry you, just remember the Aviator doesn't protect against them. They have been know to try to grab a bird right off the owner's shoulder. So be very carefully when you take him out.
  18. Welcome.. don't rush the training with the harness. It comes with a video on how to introduce it to your baby. It may take a bit of time, but in the end it will be worth it. Looking forward to hearing more about your adventures with Amadeus.
  19. Newgreymomma, that is fine if you are using no soap or shampoo while she is under your feet. Soap or shampoo is not good for their skin and is even worse should they accidently get it into their mouths. I have tried with my birds, but I guess they don't like my naked self!! LOL
  20. Glad you are feeling better. And glad the back surgery went well. We will have to compare notes someday. Aerial sounds just wonderful.
  21. Maybe some foraging toys are in order. Especially when you are going to be gone a few hours. This will help keep him busy while you are gone. Good luck.
