Just another picture of her in the shower with the perch

Does anyone know of an easy toy to hang on the shower perch that will not rust? Yoshi always chews on that hoop on the end of her perch and I can't think of what to put on it!

Yoshi has never been a big fan of showers... until today... I don't know what has gotten into her... she had an actual good time in the shower today, getting soaked... and just after that when she had half dried off with me like she usually does, flapping like a maniac, I put her on her cage-top and she dove for the water bowl (or I should say dove into the water bowl!). She has suddenly decided she loves water... at least today... she played earlier until 3/4ths of her water bowl was all over the cage and floor... and then while she settled down and ate some foods I refilled her bowl and she is at it again! Crazy bird! Here are some pictures I snapped I wonder if this is just a one day thing, lol...

Cool toy I'll just have to try something easy like that. Yoshi likes them just how they are too, and will sit on her playtop and chew into the small sized ones until they are half destroyed

So I spent the greater part of this morning giving Yoshi's cage a thorough clean out... something I do about once a month... and man is it tough! I just had to get Yoshi a huge divider cage, and take out the divider... so from the beginning she has had a huge cage that would do just lovely for two big Cockatoos or something. She loves it though, loves all the stuff we can put in there, and that this huge thing is all hers (as well as the rest of the house lol) and with the doors open at least 8 hours a day, she is free to come and go as she pleases. So she jumps and crashes into the couch (she can't fly until she knocks out these darn clipped feathers she came from the breeders with, but she is getting braver and braver at taking desperate leaps and flapping madly to reach farther and farther when she really wants something)she promptly crawled onto my shoulder, fluffed up contently, and in 5 minutes was asleep on my shoulder with her foot up and her head behind her She is so cute! I gave her a scratch and she gave me a kiss... that 30 minutes of time with her content napping on me was all the reward I needed to know that my time making her life great is worthwhile It's funny because all that I do for her... that's all she has ever known so it's just 'the norm' for her. Thanks Dan for that pic! A visual idea is nice! Yoshi actually snapped her first tail feather two days ago and it has been hanging out of place... but she doesn't seem bothered at all with it so I guess it'll come out eventually... she does look a little more 'tatty' now though because of that obvious misfit feather

Lol that's pretty cool That's crazy that he rolls of his cage like that and no harm done... guess those flight feathers come in handy! Can't wait to Yoshi has flight feathers instead on clipped ones that make her both clumsy and in more danger of breaking feathers falling...
