Harvey's chewed a couple which I've had to "cut off" but usually they come out nice and neatly. My house is covered in the white stuff! Jay - your photo still doesn't work! There are some smileys on "go advanced"
-
Hi Jay - I can view them both. They both appear in a separate "pop up" and the one from the computer shows up bigger. The one from photobucket is absolutely viewable though - so I wouldn't worry - at least you've worked out how to do it - I can't!!!!

You've come to the right place! The internet is such a teaching tool - and I think each day how lucky I am that I have this lot at my fingertips! Well done for taking Sky in - at 16 she'll be quite set in her ways, but I am sure with your love and attention she will come around. It's not like you are a stranger to her. You will find absolutely everything that you need to know here - but if you need to ask anything, ask away - no question is thought of as "stupid" or "silly" - we are all here to help and support each other! Welcome to you both - hope you like it here -
I came in from work this afternoon, and it's beautiful here in the UK and I decided to go into the garden to have a coffee. I just remarked to Harvey - "come on then, let's give the harness a try". I gave him a monkey nut and I started arranging the harness to slip over him. He just sat there! He grumbled a bit, but didn't bite or squawk and off into the garden we went! I am so proud of him (and me lol) for getting it back on - perhaps the summer with Harvey isn't the wash out I thought it was going to be! and even decided to have a bit of a scratch:

Harvey did exactly the same thing around that age Ryan and he had a gap for quite some time. It's regrown now - but you can tell it is a from a newer "batch" than the other tail feathers, it is a more vibrant red than the others. Jay - tried to click your link and it wouldn't let me look at them

]Well everyone, special meeting of F.A.R.T tomorrow night - to toast our new "home". I kind of like it here - it's starting to grow on me - can't wait to see the "finished" product! Cheers to you all, and I raise a special one to our Lord and Master - she's doing a cracking job!
-
Ha Ha! Me too Sheila - you can tell I haven't complained though! Oh for it to be 1987 again!!!!

I found this great video last night, and couldn't wait to share it. Sorry if you have seen it before, but I couldn't stop laughing:
-
How cute - welcome back. Great to hear Biscotti is doing well - and that's a fab photo - thanks for sharing x

Since our transition over here we are being inundated with saddos who are posting about their wares. I can assure you, Mr or Mrs Spammer, that nobody is going to even read your link properly, never mind click on some ridiculous link you offer! Yeah, you've found our new site - you think you'll give it a try, but really, if we wanted your "aids" or your televisions I am sure that we could source these ourselves! Your posts are staying a little longer than usual due to the building and tweaking of the site - but hopefully when the moderators and admin are up and running, there'll be eyes watching you 24/7 - so nobody will know you have posted anyway - it shall be removed post-haste! Please feel free to a "right to reply" - I've often wondered what kick you get out of posting such tripe!

Hi DrTak and Welcome to you all. You'll find everything you need to know around here in order that you have a happy and enjoyable time with Lulu. Can't wait to see some photos.

Yeah! When I blow on the central bit of his keel, the feathers part to each side, leaving a strip down the middle - it's very neat! It's exactly like a centre parting - but a little wider!
-
Right - I'd already done that and found out how to do that bit I have at the bottom - but can I have my lovely "Love from Jill & Harvey" that I used to have round at the old house? I've tried pasting the link in from photobucket like in the olden days, but this doesn't work (for me perhaps)!
-
Ha Ha Ha! Never mind Dan - as well as being stripped of 300 postings (I'm sure I celebrated your 10,000th last week) you are back to being a pleb like the rest of us
-
Ooh! Thanks Penny - Shall try it when I get home (busy skiving at work at the moment)!
-
I'm pants and can't do anything! Well done you two - I might work it out at the weekend!!!
-
They aren't bald patches as such Lyn - it's an absolutely perfect line separated down each side of his keel - it's something I hadn't seen either when he was wet or dry - have a little look and see what you think.

Hi Katy ~ welcome to you and Dusty. I echo Judy's sentiments about having such a young bird and i is such a comittment, that I certainly wouldn't want to undertake (here in the UK it is illegal to sell unweaned birds - so this decision is luckily taken out of our hands anyway). As Judy mentions, there are some very experienced members of our team who would be very happy to help, and as we are an international board there is always someone about. Don't feel shy of asking ANY questions, no matter how insignificant you think they are. We would rather help you and enable you the best help we can give. Dusty looks such a sweetie x

Oh you are so lucky ~ Harvey will have a cuddle once in a blue moon! She is not spoiled at all - and I think that this is lovely. Wish it were me!
-
How's he got moving things under his test! I can't upload my old signature (which doesn't move)! As well as being 13 years old, I can't work out how to us my signature!!!! Dave - are you fast becoming a technological whizz kid?????
-
That's really interesting Dave - because we receive them here in the UK and store them frozen. We defrost them one by one when we need them. I presume they are imported here that way too. It's such a shame - they are such a great thing for peace and quiet, whoops, I mean nutritional value!
-
Totally out of the question Lyn - my nieces stay there a lot and he'd be out of the door or window in no time
