  1. Ha Ha Lyn! I don't think it's a programme - I think Judy is dissing Desperate Housewives!!! Oh Lyn - if this is the case you have given me the biggest belly laugh of today!!! If it is a programme I do apologise now! My interpretation was "Desperate Housewives - what a load of cack"!!!
  2. Definitely # 2 - brave surgery requires brave decision. Men won't understand this one. You've been offered an all expenses paid trip of a lifetime. It takes in all of the places in the world that you've dreamed of forever. Unfortunately, this requires you to leave your grey at home for 8 weeks do you: 1. Get your bags packed and order the cab. 2. Contact the tour company and ask if you can just pick the "highlights" for two week break. 3. Give the tickets away - you couldn't leave your grey for such a length of time.
  3. Since the transfer to our new, updated, shiny home, our friends list didn't transfer - no biggie - I just want mine back! If I was your friend, please ask to be my friend - I want my list back! Oh my, I am sounding lonely aren't I !!! I don't want to miss anyone who I had previously! This will go for other people too - don't feel scared to ask to create a friendship - the least they can do is knock you back!! Only joking! Looking forward to getting my friends back (and making some new ones)!
  4. What a short sentence for such a HUGE impact! She is soooo right - Harvey's trained me to do a great deal of things - mainly hoover three times a day!!!!
  5. Julie is a great asset to this forum and I enjoy greatly reading about her life with both Beau and Argyle. I hope she continues to visit for a long time to come x

  6. Ryan is a great member of this forum and I enjoy reading Paco's antics. He gives sound, well thought advice and I look forward to hearing more about his life with Paco - thanks for being here Ryan x

  7. Dave you are wonderful! That's about all I need to say - but obviously, being me, will go on! You are such a great member of this forum and I value your opinion greatly (does my bum look big in this)!!!

I hope that you are here forever to offer me the advice that I am going to greatly need! Thanks for being you xxxx

  8. A new title, for a new forum - and what a SUPER MODERATOR you are, in all terms and means of the word! You are there to give sound, straightforward, straight talking advice - which is something I strongly admire you for. Definitely one in my "quick dial" list! Thanks for being here x

  9. Jill has some great, sound advice and is always on hand to offer members calming and instructional advice. She's a great asset to our family - and I am so glad she joined. Thanks Jill x

  10. My mother across the pond! Thank you Judy for the kindness and friendship you have shown me over the past year and a bit. I am very grateful for your sound advice and caring words at times when I have been pulling my hair out (or worrying over absolutely nothing)! Just thanks for being you!

  11. Harvey and myself would just like to thank you for all of the effort and time you put into the creation and upkeep of this forum - without you we would be nothing. You're there to keep me in line.......You're failing! You have such a great flock and I thoroughly love hearing about them all. Thanks for just being you x

  12. I want to thank Dave from the bottom of my heart for allowing me into the world of his babies! I have thoroughly been touched by the whole process of breeding and feel that all of Dave's babies are now actually MINE! Thanks Dave x

  13. Sheila was the very first person who became my friend here on Grey Forums and I am very grateful to her for the "ice breaker". She is such a caring owner, as evidenced by her postings about Charlie, Cracker and obviously the old man, Blue. I look forward to Blue's holidays at Sheila's and hearing all about his antics.

  14. Lyn's my nearest neighbour (give or take 80 miles)! Alfie is Harvey's cousin round the block, twice removed (okay, same breeder). She is a great friend and I love hearing about Alfie's antics. She gives great advice too x

  15. Janet never sleeps! Well, she does, but at completely opposite times to me so it seems that she is ever present 24/7! She's a great friend and I hope that we continue to be for a long time more x

  16. I love hearing all about Robin and her family of feathered and non-feathered companions. She is a valued member of our family - and I hope that she continues to let us know what's going on in her life for a long, long time x

  17. Dee is such a wonderful, caring person who has shared her experiences from even before day one. She's a super member, with a fantastic sense of humour and I think that's why we get along so well! I hope we are friends for a long time more x

  18. Renate and Sunny bring me so much pleasure! The sunshine in the photos just make my day! Sunny, you might be a greenie - but you are a grey friend forever.

  19. Ha Ha Ha! Anybody would think that you had Welsh relatives Sod the dragons, they were taking up far too much space in the rush hour traffic! Good old George!!!!
  20. Hi Logan - and Kihei , Welcome to our Family. I look forward to learning more about you both x
  21. Yay! Off to a full day of celebrations tomorrow (obviously because our government doesn't think it's important enough to make this a bank holiday)!
  22. Hi Ray and Welcome to our Family. The others have all given A1 advice - and I have personal experience of my grey with toddlers/infants. Harvey is absolutely fascinated with my two nieces (2 and 5) and flies at them constantly. He is now put in his cage when they come around as he will not leave them alone. I wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw him (which is a long way as he is flighted!!) with them - I could definitely see a nip here or there occuring. You sound an extremely level headed, intelligent guy - and even by asking the questions that you have asked shows that you are not taking this lightly. The time will come when you feel you can offer a grey a good home, and this grey will be one lucky birdie! Keep reading, keep researching. Your day will come x
  23. Ha Ha! Perhaps we all have something to hide!!!! What a great idea - I think we should visit profile pages and post our visitor comments too x
  24. How exciting! I'm going to try the vanilla, the sage and the cinammon! I love nice smells in my house
  25. What I find remarkable about all of the shows you mention is that they are played over here too. So, at least we know we aren't getting the junk that nobody watches! My mam is a HUGE fan of 24 - I've never watched it! I will have to borrow the DVDs from her. I notice how no British shows made it here though.........!
