  1. Ha Ha Ha! You'r right - my ironing board!!! Thanks mate!
  2. That is just so cute!!!! I have never, ever, not once seen Harvey asleep! Never! He never, never, ever, ever sleeps during the day! Oh for that moment of peace!!! Enjoy!
  3. Happy Hatchday Slater - what a great little set up you have there! Love the cargo net too x
  4. Don't have one, don't need one - wasn't party to any "truces", don't want to be. Over and out. I'm honestly more interested in Excel than your views. OH AND THERE HAS BEEN A THREAD IN BETWEEN MINE AND PEARLLYN FROM ELVENKING THAT HE HAS CHOSEN TO DELETE THAT BASICALLY SAID "WHATEVER" - OHHH - CHECK THE RESPONSE! I am checking my response - you are still BLATANTLY BORING ME! Leave your replies - deleting them does nothing - I have a memory!!! THIS DOESN'T MAKE ME LOOK BAD BY DELETING YOUR OWN POST - JUST MAKES YOU LOOK WEAK!!!
  5. It was me! You flipping nugget!!! I've fallen foul to it sooooooo many times!! It knacks!!!
  6. Really! It's just from the BBC - I thought there were world wide!! I'll try and find another stream for it.........
  7. Where oh where do you all find time!!! I spend enough time with you lot on here - why on earth would I want to find you all on Facebook too!! Ha Ha - only joking! Clearly I don't have Facebook - I'm scared I wouldn't have any friends and show myself up!!!
  8. I use Google Chrome - it checks as I type too, but since I am such a good speller, and such a fluent typist, there is rarely a need for the little squiggly underline :) Ha Ha Ha!!!
  9. How thoroughly rude! Now we resort to name calling. I think you need to look up the term "bullying" - and I certainly don't need to be told by you to "grow some skin". I see your true colours are clearly starting to shine through. Well, you may have intimidated poor excel into not calling anymore, but it will take more than you to shift me!! You haven't offended me - but I am sure that had someone been so negative in your first week of being a member it may have upset you. There are standards on this forum - and I'm not going to let them slip. Oh - and the "young" references - I don't know how old anybody is - so how old am I? One thing you won't be singing is "Ding Dong the Witch is Dead" - cos I aint going nowhere! End note to Excel - if you feel you can't post and need some help - please PM me - I'll pass on your request to others x
  10. Ha Ha! Salsa sure does love to eat - little piggy!!! Salsa must be an absolute gem to have around - I am picturing her hopping over and flipping over for a tummy tickle! How sweet!!! As for the snogging - dirty, dirty girl - have you taught her about morals and the expectations of a mother and father Great pictures of the clan - thanks for sharing these!
  11. Hi Sunshine, Welcome to our Family! Julie & Dan have obviously given great advice and I would like to share my version of "rescue". I had a cockatiel which I "rescued" when he was 1½ - already cage bound, already not tamed. I had him for 17½ years and during this time the only "proper" hand contact I had with him was in his last days when he was very poorly. He never tamed, but did come out of his cage - but it was a battle getting him back in and unfortunately used to normally end in me "towelling" him to get him back in. To be honest, Spiky was happy in his cage - and in the last few years if I opened his door, he wouldn't come out You have to decide what you really want in a grey - do you want that "talkie, cutie" that you've seen on YouTube, or do you want to give a loving home to a bird in need of a new home? You ask as many questions as you like - it's best to ask than to guess! Looking forward to hearing how things went - best of luck xx
  12. I'm not simmering, just on a "slow cook" Sorry, but I don't tolerate bullying in any form, being it kids, workplace or even cyberspace - because I feel that this is what this post nearly became! What Julie hasn't mentioned is her own personal triumph with her Hahn's Macaw (adopted) Beau. Beau was indeed testy and tried his luck - but with time, patience and love - and a whole lot of effort, she has herself a lovely little birdie. So, indeed it can be done. I do hope that xcel does continue to use this forum ~ and that this thread has not driven her away and she certainly does have her "right to reply"
  13. Great to hear that you and Yoshi are doing fine! I enjoy reading the antics of Yoshi ~ thanks x

  14. Hi Jess ~ great to hear that you've been busy (but haven't forgotten us)!!! Congratulations on your PT test - takes some doing and training so you must be so focused!!! Great to hear that Yoshi is doing well - she's absolutely lovely, those pictures are great - love the stand! What a bargain! You'll have to try and catch her on video saying "peek a boo" - how cute!! Good to hear from you x
  15. Hi Jess - It's all well and good that you are sticking up for Elvenking - but his exact words were informing excel to resign as a member! This is what isn't acceptable - not the fact that he doesn't want to hear it. Nobody wants to hear this, but unfortunately it's the way of the world.
  16. I can assure you he didn't see the spider - he would have eaten it, not swooped away from it!!! When Harvey does this (regularly) we just move out of the way - I have no doubt that should we get in his path then we would just collide!! Perhaps he didn't fancy a feed at that time - but perhaps next time there's a spider loose a little flavouring might tempt him
  17. Oh he is absolutely beautiful! I love the first picture where he's saying "yeah, and......" Thank you very much for sharing these - I love them
  18. This is exactly as you should be doing - exactly the same as you would do with your "human" toddlers when you are teaching them how to speak. Harvey has picked up a word that I don't repeat again and again (like the step up, hello, good boy etc), but a colloquial term from my neck on the woods in the UK "Howay" - which means "come on" - so you never know what they are going to say. Good luck!
  19. All Hail Mr Spock! I've come to the assumption that this little "icky" spell you were having was all a ploy to draw your human counterparts closer in order that you can have your own way at every juncture! Very clever!!! I'm sure Maggie wasn't brimming with joy at her new hair conditioner - but could you point out to her that it's actually deemed lucky for a bird to "go" on your head - so when she wins the lottery this weekend she can thank you for it! Silliness asides - I'm so pleased that you are back to your demonic ways - a sure sign you're on the up
  20. Great to hear the baby is doing fine - but I thought you were going to the vet's? Where's those pictures!!! A young whippersnapper like yourself should be able to upload pictures no problem - it's us oldies who can't manage it!!
  21. Mmmmmm!!! Come on, where's these photos!!!
  22. Caitlin, for a Brit who just calls schools first, middle and High - will you please let me know what they all stand for!!!!! It's all alphabetti spaghetti to me!!
  23. Hope you have a great day xx
  24. You two can speak for yourselves, I am merely young...........
