1. I was lazing on the sofa while Koko was munching her food. My wife went upstairs to take shower. On hearing my wife came out of the bathroom, Koko flew to the kitchen then back to her stand. She flew to the kitchen again and back to the living room, then made a u turn at the stairs and flew all the way up to the room where my wife was drying her hair with a towel. Koko landed on my wife's shoulder and gave her a fright thinking that a ghost tapped on her shoulder. LOL.
2. I heard other shopowners said that too. I think it is an old grandma advice. Over here, most people believed that if we trimmed the tongue of the parrot, the bird would talk even better.
3. My car alarm suddenly went off this morning. Then it was switched off and turned on again. The central locking was turned on and off too. I thought the car alarm system had gone haywire. It took us awhile to realize Koko was playing with the remote.:laugh:
4. I always let Koko comes out on her own. Sometimes she would like to stay a little bit longer in the cage even though the door is opened.
5. I have just bought a Green Pan non stick pan. It is made of ceramic coating and is PTFE free. Very expensive indeed.
6. 31 Jan 2008 till now is 1.5 years.{Emotions-0002011C}
7. Me too.{Feel-good-0002006E}
8. Her poop looks like spaghetti.:ohmy:
9. Maybe Tony Stark aka Ironman can make Chimay a suit to fly.:lol:
10. I like the straws. Thanks for the idea.
11. Koko plucks her tail feathers out too but they don't look as bad as yours.
12. What a beautiful grey you have there.
13. Ever since Koko came into my life, I have to sweep the floor at least 5X a day. Sigh.
14. My wife likes to take Koko upstairs. Koko likes to be on the wall fan in one of the rooms. After finishing blowing her hair, my wife commanded Koko to step down. Koko refused and walked further away from my wife's arm. My wife then warned, "Koko if you don't come down, I will not take you up again." Surprisingly, Koko obeyed and stepped on her arm. I wonder if that was a coincidence or Koko really understood my wife?
15. You have a smart grey.B)

Post edited by: dhorje, at: 2009/06/15 00:15
16. My grey is luckier. She is out of cage most of the time coz I am self employed, operate from home. I don't have problem getting my grey in the cage for bedtime even though she is reluctant to go in. I always place my palm over her body when I take her in to prevent her from flying away.

18. This morning on my way out to work, I had a brief chat with my neighbor. She said she was arguing with her husband if we had a dog. They are avid dog lovers. Her husband argued that we had a dog while she disagreed. I told her it was my Grey that was barking.:lol: PS. Koko has been barking a lot recently.
19. That is not a fluke shot. My Grey too poops on command. It is quite easy to teach a CAG to poop on command.
20. How has my grey changed my life? When she has her freedom (out of cage), we have to stay in the prison. Doors and windows closed. Hardly have any air to breath. When my grey is in the cage, we gain our freedom. With the doors and windows open, we have fresh air.:lol:
21. Why not you stop painting for the time being and see how it goes? That would be the best way to know if it was the acrylic paint that caused the problem.
22. I came across a pet shop that have been keeping a CAG caged for life. The bird is fed with mainly seeds. The CAG is still alive today after 40 years in prison.
23. A few days ago, while having an evening walk, we walked past a group of kids playing in front of their houses. On seeing Koko, I heard one of them called out "Mommy, got chicken". LOL, do my grey looks like a chicken?:laugh: I was taking a morning walk this morning. Koko was mimicking the calls of wild birds as we walked. It caught attention of an old man who was walking in front us. He asked if Koko was an eagle. At least eagle sounds better than chicken.:laugh:
