  1. I have never given ice cream to my Grey. I guess she would like it very much.
  2. CAG don't flying all the time. They spend most of their time on their perch or play gym. They would fly when they feel like it. CAG are smart, they don't simply fly and crash into everything.
  3. It was because your CAG is new to their territory. I experienced that a few times when I brought my Grey out to the nearby play ground. After a couple of times, they seemed to acknowledge the arrival of the new kid on the block and decided to ignored my grey. It was scary to see the crows circling us. I would leave asap if I were you.

    Go Fish???

My CAG loves fish. I always give her fresh cooked fish not from the can. Canned fish is high in heavy metals and preservatives.
  5. Mocha is just like a parrot. He likes to perch on my wife's shoulder and likes interaction too. I tried toilet train Mocha today and it was successful. I took him to the bathroom. He was perching on my finger. I said poo poo and there he released immediately. After 10 mins or so, I took him to poo again. It took a little longer this time. I thought it was coincidence. Another 10 mins or so later, I asked my wife to do it. Mocha pooped on command! And he did it again on the 4th time. Hill Mynah is an intelligent bird. AddEmoticons04239 Mocha perching on my wife's shoulder. He flew there from his cage. Mocha on Koko's swing. Mocha is getting naughty. I had to stand on my PC table to bring him down.
  6. My Grey is afraid of those guys who sweep the road. I would take a detour when I met them on the street.
  7. Mocha doesn't like Koko to get close to him. He would attack Koko, probably Koko tried to bite his feet a few days back. Surprisingly, Mocha flew to Koko's perch while Koko was standing there. Koko was taken by surprise but didn't attack Mocha. She allowed Mocha to share the stand.
  8. Mocha has been flying a lot today. Look at all the landing spots. He has been banging into everything.
  9. Mocha doesn't poo at night. We take him to the bathroom 1st thing in the morning but he doesn't poo either. He would hold for quite sometime before releasing.
  10. My wife takes care of Mocha more than I do. Wouldn't be surprised if he is HER bird. I am afraid of his poop, very massive. Grey's poop is nowhere near mynah's poop in size.
  11. That's my wife. He loves to be with my wife.
  12. Little Mocha is quite fierce. He didn't like Koko to be near him. He sees Koko a threat. He would peck if Koko is too close to him. I think this is due to Koko was trying to bite her a few days ago.
  13. My grey has been using the aviator since Dec last year. I don't see the harness is causing stress on her. My Grey enjoys outdoor walk with me. She is making all kind of birdies whistles and calls along the way. The harness enables her to play on her favorite playgyms in the playground. She flies from one playgym to another.
  14. Baby Mocha learns how to fly today. I let him out to play. He hops around in the living room. And he knows how to fly back into his cage. One bad thing is he poops every minute on the floor.
  15. Sorry for the loss of Gracie. May she rest in peace.
  16. My wild caught Blue Rumped Parrots are not 100% tame but they don't bite no matter how I manhandled them. On the other hand my very tame Koko would bite if she didn't like the way being handled.
  17. What a poor bird. Why don't you add some spirulina to his food or feed directly? Spirulina is nutrients packed. Koko loves spirulina. I mix wheat grass, spirulina, stabilized rice bran and whey protein for Koko 2X a week. This is to ensure she is getting all the vitamins and minerals that needed for good health.
  18. Mocha loves to be cuddled. Mocha and Mommy. He is holding on to my wife's shirt like a sugar glider.
  19. They are so cute and beautiful. I wonder how you manage all these giants in 1 roof? Koko alone already gave me lots of headaches.
  20. Koko spends 2X a day on outdoor. We would have a short walk (about 10 mins) in the morning and in the evening she would be in the playground for 1/2 hour or so. We would go for a 30 mins morning walk on weekends.
