1. Koko and I wish Rexxy A Very Happy Birthday. I think my Koko is 1 year old too.
2. Greys eat bugs in the wild? My Grey gets startled when a fly or a beetle flies past her. She is very cautious as if the fly or beetle is going to attack her.
3. I am from Malaysia but I have not seen those things selling at pet shops.
4. My Grey loves to land on my wife's head. I filed her nails regularly, so there's no scratches on our heads.
5. Your Grey's past life could be a Vampire Bat. Sorry, just joking.
6. Probably your baby is upset because she has lost her free flight freedom.
7. Keeping a flighted bird is more fun than a flightless bird. Even though at certain times Koko gave me some headaches but I love to watch her flying around in the house.
8. I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I know how is the feeling of losing our beloved pet. One of my parrots died not long ago.
9. I was shopping at Ikea yesterday. I found this circular hanger and thought it might make a good toy for my Koko.
10. Anyone of you have watched this video? This is truly AMAZING.
11. It was a hot sunny and windy day at the playground. At times, way before we reached the exercise bar or whatever you call those metal bars, Koko had already taken off. I had to run hard catching up with her.{Emotions-000200B8}
12. Cute little baby. Reminds me of Koko when she was a little baby.
13. These videos were taken yesterday evening. Hope you enjoy them. Koko's successful harness flight.
14. My Grey doesn't talk to strangers too. She is very well behaved when we have visitors over.
15. judygram wrote: It was an early Sunday morning. The street was very quiet. Never expected someone would come so early to open her shop. The reason why I took Koko out to different places was to have more exposure for her. I want her to overcome her nervousness at new places and also to meet new people. Koko is more sociable now. She is allowing some strangers to touch her.
16. My Grey is always on harness when we are out. Koko is not free flight trained.......yet. I took her out to the playground this evening. She enjoyed being at the playground more than the walk along the shops. She didn't want to go home.
17. Koko was lucky to have dodged the bullet. She may not survive as there is no avian vet in the city I am staying. Koko was scared when the cat pounced on her. The crows frightened her too. And I was worried that Koko would blame me for that and losing trust in me. I am glad Koko sees me as a protector. It happened a couple of times Koko just flew off screaming when we were on that street. She seemed to hear or see something that I couldn't. I guess I will not walk her on that street again.

Post edited by: dhorje, at: 2009/04/19 13:47
18. As we were walking past some shops this early morning, a lady was opening her shop. The noise from the pulling up of the roller shutter frightened Koko. Koko panicked and she flew circling me a few rounds and landed on the road. As I picked her up, a stray cat suddenly appeared from nowhere and nearly pounced on her. The cat missed Koko by inches otherwise Koko would have been wounded by the cat. Koko's scream attracted a flock of crows and the crows came surrounding us from above. Luckily, Koko was alright. She had her favorite egg for breakfast when we reached home. She was her usual self and didn't blame me for the incident.

Post edited by: dhorje, at: 2009/04/19 13:46

21. I was told by a few naturopaths vaccines contain heavy metals. How can heavy metals boost the immune system? They are not even suitable for humans.
