Since Thermolon is made of aluminium, how about the risk of getting aluminium poisoning? I mean us not the parrots.

My CAG has no problem dealing with noise. The noise may startled her initially but she will get used to it eventually.

I am surprised to hear there is such a filthy a pet shop in your country. I thought it happens only in third world countries like mine.

Thanks for your advice. Koko doesn't want to perch on my hand every time I take her out. She will find her way on my shoulder. How do I train her to perch on my hand?

How do I stop Koko from biting my ear? She is very fond of biting my ear while perching on my shoulder when we are taking a walk outside. She doesn't do that inside the house. The bite is real hard. She bites even harder when I say a stern 'NO'.

My Koko doesn't scream for attention. She will fly to us if she needs it, either on our heads or shoulders.

I didn't see my Grey drinking water when I first got her. But now she is drinking plenty of water. No worries, baby grey knows how and when to drink water.

Koko is around 9 months and has been saying 'Haloo' regularly since yesterday. She also says How are you? but not so clear.

My mom in law owns an oil palm plantation. That's where I get my supplies. Too bad she stays far away other wise I could send them to you FOC. You only need to pay for the postage.

Wow! You guys have beautiful cages. Most of your cages are not available in my country.

Koko is around 9 months and she is pretty quiet most of the time. She is vocal at several times of the day. She will sometimes scream when hanging upside down or flying. She is quiet during the night.

You have to give Shanti a male name.

My CAG and my small Blue Rumps and Blue Crown have been together for more than 5 months. Yet the smaller parrots are still afraid of the bigger CAG. Whenever they are out of cage and the CAG goes near them asking for head scratch, the small ones panic and fly away.

I do give my blue rumped parrots vitamins supplement until they have started eating pellets. Since pellets contain added vitamins and minerals there's no need to give vitamins supplement. As for my Grey, she is still eating handfeeding formula and also pellets which contain added vitamins and minerals. So supplementation is not required. But I do give her a little bit calcium supplement 2X a week.

So my Koko is not alone. I bought her some almonds and cashews but my Koko doesn't eat them. She just chew them to pieces as if they were toys for her to play. She loves cracking the pistachio nuts, chewing the shell and leaves out the pistachio.

But mine spits out the inside and chews the shell.

My Grey doesn't seem to be eating sunflower seeds. She likes to unshell the seeds. Is it normal for a parrot not eating sunflower seeds?
