3. Great tip Erika! I also have really thick hair and have to condition it all the time! I will give this a go and see if it helps! Im sure Dave will try out this handy tip as well:laugh: He will try it and not tell us though!
4. Hiya Lex, Wecome to the forum. I am from the UK as well, a Northern lass from sunny West Yorkshire! I bet you cant wait to bring your baby girl home can you? Please take time and look through the many threads in the Nursery room, these will give you advice on bringing your new baby home. I look forward to hearing more about you both and maybe see some pictures when you eventually get some. I hope you enjoy it here:) Caroline.
5. Yes Dan! We have a slacker on board! We need to sort Judy out with a time table over the next couple of days! No excuses Judy! Hayley, have you been on the sherry already? Fancy blaming a little old lady with dementia for polishing the sherry off:laugh: Hope your little one is better today:) Have a good evening everyone. Caroline.
6. Wonderful pictures Caitlin, Slater is beautiful:)
7. Hiya Dan, I dont live in a terrace but I do live in a semi-detached. I too have worried about this problem as I have three greys. I think the best thing you can do is to speak to the neighbours and try and be on friendly terms with them, I also invite mine round for coffee and they love to sit and listen to the greys. I cover the birds at a resonable hour and they dont make a noise until they are uncovered, on a weekend they get covered a little later and this gives us all extra sleep without the noise. I did mention to my neighbours that if the noise did get too bad I would look into sound proofing the walls. I know they can hear them as I was house sitting the other week and could hear them when I went round there. I dont think your situation will be like mine though as you only have the one grey, one grey I dont think the noise will be bad at all! At the end of the day, as long as its not unsociable hours they cant really complain! Caroline.
8. Yeah its your fault Hayley! Another Piece of furniture will be gone and my bank balance will drop again! They are nice though:whistle:
9. Sheila, thats a good price. Will you let me know if they could deliver anything like this and get me the website? I would be interested in something like this for mine, I am sure we can move another piece of furniture out to make room:laugh:

Post edited by: casper, at: 2008/12/17 13:03
10. Judy, Bah Humbug!!!!! I will be getting you organized later! You need to get that tree up and buy your pressies before the weekend! This is what you get going away on holiday so close to christmas! I hope everyone is getting into the christmas spirit of things, my kids are counting down the sleeps now! I cant believe its only a week away! Have a great day everyone:)
11. I like the tree they have on there, but it works out about £199 for a tree suitable for a grey! The smaller ones are more for conures. Are you gonna make something yourself Hayley?
12. Three Cags, 18 months, 10 months and 7 months. All fully flighted, no plucking or destruction.
13. I have three greys, all mine like to hang out in each others cages! They eat each others food, play with the toys and two of them will quite happily sit together on the same perch and preen each other, normally in my eldest grey Charlies cage. Its really strange but this is the cage where they all like to hang out. When I let all three out they all make a bee line for Charlies cage. I think they all like to have a nosey and see they are not missing out on anything:laugh:
14. Hope you had a great hatchday Freddie:)
15. Glad you had a good night Sheila, did you sing your heart out on the karaoke? Yes, my lovely Brads passed his grading:) He came home and told me he had failed then about an hour later took his new belt out of his bag! Always the joker is Brads! It makes you feel so proud when they do well. Well the countdown has started on the run up to christmas now, Ive got all the presents just a bit more wrapping to do and the big food shop next week;) Hope everyone is starting to get excited now and you all dont have much left to do. Happy Tuesday everyone. Caroline.
