Yes, watch the cat! One quick swipe and your parrot could be in big trouble. Cats saliva and claws have deadly bacteria in them. That's why rodents are killed by a small bite to the neck.
Laurie and kitty, sounds like your doing great! Thank you for checking in. It's motivation that keeps us going, and every bit helps!
Karma for you both!!
(And walking at walmart....was it their superstore? If so, that might just count!!) LOL

Post edited by: Talon, at: 2008/07/26 19:37
You should have them use pet friendly cleaners on the carpet. They usually carry both kinds. I had my carpet cleaned one time with the regular cleaner and my indoor bunny died that night :-( I wouldn't take the risk with your bird. They are much more sensitive to fumes
Alright you guys, lets all get going here. I WANT WEEKLY CHECK-INS!!!
From this day on, I will give karma to each member that gives a weekly report on how many days you exercised during the week. One karma per day! :woohoo:
That would have been great, but she's away with one of her horses at camp! I can't believe the work I have to do while she's gone...... I sure do miss her, and so does Talon & Rikki, they have no one to hang out with when I'm gone!
That's what we had for dinner tonight. I let Rikki chow down on the chicken carcass while it was still on the counter. She LOVES it. Poor Talon just got a wing.
They both love the bones, and do very well with them. B)
