ok awesome so I wont even bother buying the other type of nuts. The pet store had a mix of nice nuts (which I bought) but I find all the bigger harder shelled ones usually on the bottom of the cage in a pile of poo! LOL which I reckon makes sense now! she does like the almonds tho for sure and has just recently been able to really dig into them.
Dan .... so are you saying that ... Greys arent able (as well) to crack open shells such as a walnut or macadamia nut or even a pistachio with their beaks? So far Ive only seen Marco be successful with a peanut ofcourse and an almond. So I should either precrack them for her or just stop giving them to her all together??
lol I havent taken mine to BED with me but I have spent a nite er 2 on the couch first nite home and during storms as well I CAN RELATE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
NORMAL!
thats what I was gonna say I use it when I make birdie bread and if i make scrambled eggs (for her) lots of ways to "hide it" if you want your bird to have it
Fun fun fun ... I have to admit Ive watched all those videos for probably a year before getting marco. I didnt know about a few of those you have listed but I think they are all amazing!!!
Marco likes to summersault round this rope perch then hang upside down by 1 leg and swing
whos a pretty girl?
Marco near mommys flower garden
Chillin on the porch with mom enjoying a beautiful day
hey hey I got my leash lets go!!
agreed! dont stop offering anything you are currently giving. even if you see or think they didnt eat something. one day marco will eat a green pepper next day its on the bottom of her cage untouched. I found however that making a large pot of the 14 bean soup with a bunch of veges in it and freezing it into cube trays is one of her favorite dinners!!! and even now shes been home since easter and i find new things she likes
