awww dont give up Marco wasnt sure about it either and i had to cut it up into small pieces before she ripped into the actual fruit. Timber dint even like the seeds? good idea ... marco was not sure about it either lol i think its a great idea to keep it by the cage for Jasper to get used to it. I put 2 new foreging toys in marco's cage and she wont even go onto that side of the cage right now LOL .. talk bout silly birds!

that is a great idea I dont know enough about it to tell you one way or the other but I hear ALOT of stuff like they have just said so definately look into it before you do it!!!!!

oh man 60 :eek: I carved a pumpkin once for a work contest i carved the symbol for our hospital in it and won 1st place and last year I made a pumpkin into a cat by glueing candy corn to it and painted eyes on it and won 1st place again i love pumpkin season!

nice! I think marco's distance she can shoot food from off her beak has increased as shes gotten older lol ...so just give it time

she is REALLLLLLY warming up to pumpkin i cut a piece off of it tonite and gave it to her for dinner and she just tore into it big time that makes me SOOOOOOOOO happy! and course she LOVED the seeds

oh I will it will be her first so gotta video that ... sheesh her bday is coming up pretty soon I cant believe this xmas (23rd) shes gonna b 1 :eek: my how time flies ... nods about the tearing apart stuff ... Im not brave enough to let her do it inside lol i dont wanna be washing down the WALLS ... Im taking her outside its the upper 70's bright n sunny she can get the best of both worlds the punkin and the sunshine! its just gorgeous out LOLOL ... that is a really cool idea... Marco doesnt seem to be impressed with punkin seeds (yet) but she does like the fruit portion of it so Im excited to see what shes gonna do with it if it goes well I'll buy a couple more before they disappear for the season!

I know they talk ALOT about the aloe spray .. I bought mine (tho havent had to use it) at Walmart in a gallon jug in the pharmacy area for like $10 did you try that?

awww that is so great and the pics are wonderful! beautiful bird! marco says a few words pretty clear and I think somewhere she picked up tickle tickle which is new but she does alot of grumbling lil words kinda like shes practicing its sorta funny to listen to Im sure you all have had similiar experiences. but what I do find which is cool is that marco DEFINATELY understands words like .... "Are you hungry?" if she is perched anywhere and I say that she knows its time to eat and comes running ... she clearly knows the word "Cracker" cuz that is her lil treats when I get home from work n stuff and she knows "Wanna come see me?" which is what I say when I take her out of the cage so if I say that she runs to the front of the cage and sits on the perch there til I open the door and THAT to me is just sooooo amazing! i get all excited when I hear her talking too .... its a great feeling!

thats funny nancy! well probably sunday i will lay newspapers everywhere and see just what shes gonna do with the punkin~! course i should probably line the walls with it too ... whoda thought they could shake their lil heads and shoot that food from their beaks so far? :rolleyes: I will video it! lol my luck she wont like it tho, Ive tried squash and sweet tater and she likes those so Im hopeful. thanks for all the nice comments! xo

funny when I get home from work and I have on my sunglasses and I tell marco mommys home she tilts her head and chirps cuz she hears/sees me however when i take her out of her cage she shys away until I pull my glasses up and say SEE its mommy and then shes fine .. she sure dont like them :rolleyes: I thought they were cute but I do pick her up with them on so she sees they arent scarey and i even let her try to nibble at them a second to see they are safe! but its something so small and silly that they react to!! amazing really
