I have both play top and a clamshells and my guys go to the top of both to play and will step up with no problem from each. My clamshell is higher than my play top.

I have worked with and been around lots of people, men and woman all my life. I am a people person and my bird come up in many conversations with them. I found that there just as many woman that have problems with parrots as men and just as many men are fascinated with parrots as women. I love my birds and if I were looking for a woman my parrots are part of the package.

I also followed and enjoyed all of Cocoa adventures over the years. The pictures and videos were always a joy to watch. My heart goes out to the family. RIP Cocoa, your life made a difference to all of us. Thank you Judy for letting us know.

In our house it`s the phone ringing that Corky dose so well. If you answer the phone and it was her, she will laugh at you, that`s how good she is at it.

I understand what your going through as I often stop to talk to and play with baby greys and amazons at the pet shop that I deal with. It`s nice to see and play with them before their brat stage. I love my brats as I made them that way. I take full responsibility.

Hay Dee, I think Miss Gilberts swipe s at you are more normal than you think as Corky who has been with us all her life will do the same thing at us from time to time. Corky loves us and she always wants to be near or on us all the time, but some times she will just take a swipe to make sure her aim is still on the money. I believe it`s a grey thing when it comes to keeping her skills sharp. She has been with us all her life, 13 years, but some times she just wants to reach out and touch some one. if you get my drift.

There was a time when I would never have considered an amazon as a companion. Than along came cricket my Blue fronted Amazon and now I am in love with my grey and my zon. You can read all kinds of bad things about amazons just like you can read all kinds of bad things about greys. If you look at my avatar you will see Corky my CAG and Cricket my BFA. They each bring something of them self that is different from the other that makes our home a home. They are each so different from each other, yet so much alike.
