I use Eden Pure heaters, I have 3 and if you look at my avatar you will see my girls on one. They are safe around pets and the shell dose not get hot. They have a copper jacket heat exchanger and make a lot of heat for a little money.

Beak marks are a way of life when you live with a parrot. They share in every thing.

I think a trip to the vet is in order. I hope every thing is OK.

Depending on what you listen to on the radio and or watch on TV, some shows have dialogue not fitting for a family parrot and they can pick things very quickly.

As a rule Cricket starts her mating season around the first part to the middle of December and this goes to late March or early April. As of today she has not started her mating ritual. I hope this won`t last to early May. I think she heard Louie is of age and she is going to leave the porch light on for him so Janet keep him home until this is over with. When she starts I will video her mating dance as it`s cute and loveable. Most amazon lovers do not look forward to this time of year, but Cricket`s mating ritual is very mild and sweet and she becomes even more clingy to me. Just a day in living life with a amazon

Corky loves her bath on her terms. We have a large hanging bath tub in her cage all the time so when she is ready it`s there.
