  1. She doesnt do the head bob dance much, she flaps her wings and stretches her head up slowly and then puts it down slowly as well, its all more or less in time to the music. :woohoo: :woohoo:
  2. I cant get videos on my phone, it has no memory, just a temporary one as Chocko ate my usual one. This one also has a button missing from Bella.
  3. He probably wont have eaten any, they just tend to shred and throw, not sure of what it would do if he had, i would be inclined to ring the vet to make sure, but im a worry wart about them at the best of times.
  4. Chocko loves loud music and sings and dances when its on. She was partying at the next door neighbours til 5 this morning, she was still at it when everyone else was dropping!! Her favourite is the black eyed peas meet me halfway track, she goes mad when its on and sits humming the tune to herself regularly when shes locked up. Shes been sat in the chair singing and dancing this afternoon but shes now laid down in it fast asleep. Shes so cute when she lays down in the chair.
  5. Sorry, cant answer questions but i will cross post this on other forums.
  6. No your not the only one!!! Apart from i never get sick of food or lager, i can do it all year round, the choccies i can take or leave though except when theyre just there in front of you! :woohoo: :woohoo:
  7. That may be the reason its you hes biting. If he picks up on your stress and you were his most trusted friend before his ordeal he may not feel as safe with you due to you being stressed if you understand what i mean? Try and chill out and only approach him when your calm and he can relax in your presence.
  8. Dont know if i should post in this thread or not but my opinion is Ash needs tlc, peace and quiet and a lot of time to rest to get over his ordeal, hes been through the worst nightmare they can have, hes lucky, he survived it, many wouldnt. Do you have any "guardian angel"? Its not prozac, just a natural remedy to settle them after an ordeal.
  9. I darent move out of the nursery!!! Its a scary big world out there, i have 2 big sisters as well, one used to bully me til the even bigger sister moved in and she protects me now cos the bigger big sis wants to bully me! Its scary being the only boy especially when im the baby! Thanks guys for my hatchday wishes, i love you all. Bellino.
  10. Congratulations!!! You are obviously a jabbajaws!!!
  11. Happy first hatchday little man, lots of love from Mum, Bella and Chocko.
  12. Thats really cute.
  13. I think the latter is most likely.
  14. When my friends parrot got scared and flew out of the door he was gone for 2 days. We finally found him up a high tree quarter of a mile away, he was desperate to get back to his mum but couldnt suss how to land on her from such a distance so just flew round her a few times way above her head before landing back on the branches. He was very confused and disorientated when she finally got him.
  15. Thanks guys,  I know ive not been on this forum long but i feel as though ive got to know quite a few of you already, ive no intention of leaving, youre all brilliant but i have to admit between Chocko, my nightmare bird that i adore and Bryony my horse, i do like to go for a pint or 5 at teatime as well. I thought Bella was my Satans bird but compared to Chocko shes an an angel!
  16. Ive been an active member on parrot forums for the last 2 years but since i got my horse back from being on loan my time seems to go nowhere between her, work and my parrots. I do still check on all forums at least once a day but posting time seems to go nowhere, im not being ignorant but i seem to concentrate on lost and found parrots rather than anything else. I really do miss you guys and do read most of the posts but much as i love you all i really have to devote my time to my parrots, horse and work, im not leaving any forums and still devote my time to lost and found parrots so anyone needing help with that please pm me or ring me, i just miss the general chat at the moment.
  17. Thats the first time ive heard of one cleaning up after themselves!!!! Mine make as much mess as they can and hinder when im trying to clean up after them. Bella insists on sticking her head up the vac hose while im vaccing the cage, i think she likes the g force of her beak being sucked up there, i keep her out of the way now, i cant see it being any good for her!
  18. I agree, i think hes lulling you into a false sense of security!!!
  19. My new one talks in a ladys voice mainly but i have heard a mans voice come out of her, ive no idea what her history is.
  20. Mine are babies too, 19 months, 7 months and approx 7 years, there was one on another forum whos history could be traced back 80 years before it went blank, he could have been quite a bit older than that.
  21. Thanks guys, ive never even heard of East Grinstead!
  22. I lost my african grey on the 12/11/2009 about midday by east court in east grinstead!! her name is Zari and she is very tame so will step up to almost any one when asked. She has a tag on her foot and she is grey with a red tail and bum. she loves graps and monkey nuts. she can wolf whstle, say "hello" blow kisses and rasberrys. she is a year old and means a lot to the familey so a £300 reward will be given to who ever finds her and brings her back safe and sound home. many thanks. 23. Yes, were joining them, she loves rude noises of any kind, her and Bella have just been competing in the nasty clearing cough that Augusto does, it really irritates me when he does it but when they do it its really cute.
  24. I heard her for the first time this morning shouting at 2 kids in a mans voice, only ever heard a woman before, Augusto says she keeps calling him a name whenever she sees him but shes actually telling him her name. Just come home tonight and she said"Do you want to come out? Come on" I told her its past your bedtime but guess whos got her own way?
  25. Thats brilliant news, well done!
