We have a similar thing on other forums that we call rep points, its rarely used though and had to be taken off one forum as a certain individual used to log in every hour just to knock points off when they took a dislike to someone for no reason, i was the main victim for reasons i have no idea, i know who it was and confronted him by pm but he never replied, there were a few of us attacked daily, the other ones were the ones i associated most with! I could log off at night with 12 points and when i logged in next i was minus 2! It was beyond a joke but at least on here it seems to get used a lot and sensibly as well! I think it depends on how they were clipped. Some breeders butcher them and they never grow properly but if theyre done right they should come back at the next moult.

What does the karma status mean? Sorry to sound a bit thick but it seems to vary but not depending on how many posts anyone has written.

Thats a complicated one! I have ridden my horse so many time when there is something spooky on the other side of the road but on the way home when were passing it on the other side it suddenly turns into a 3 headed monster with claws that is determined to harm my Bryony. Is she genuinely scared of it or is she pretending?

Sorry to hear Rishi is sick, i really hope all will be ok with him, please keep us posted and get him to the avian pet if at all possible, time is precious where sick birds are concerned.

I once allowed Bella to steal a clove of garlic as i was chopping it up, she loved it, then i read thats its bad for them in large quantities so never did it again, i do however give her a slice of garlic bread occasionally, should i stop that as well?

Theres no breeding facilities for them and they only have perches, they started off sleeping in the half they were given but have now swapped round for some reason, the only bowl they eat out of is "Bellas" bowl although they have two, i think its Bellino the baby asserting his authority over her, he steals all her treats out of it then throws them on the floor and gets his own out of his bowl and wont let her share? I really have to watch him yet when theyre out of the cage its the opposite way round,

Bella seems to be on a permanent moult, she always has pin feathers on her head not scratching or bothering her though, keep spraying her with water and aloe vera, when she comes out during the day she "shovels" her head into my armpits and always leaves a grey patch on me.

They dont actually play together but if one goes out of the room without the other the left one shouts to go out as well, if in the future there is any problems with trying to breed the divider will be put back in or one of them will be moved to the spare cage, im really against breeding and would rather rescue another needy bird than bring another one into the world, im currently undergoing checks with the RSPCA to be a foster parront for found birds til they get reunited with their owners or rehomed to a permanent home, dont want another one full time as i like to spend time with the 2 ive got but would love to help any needy birds.

No, theyre not clutchmates but settled together in seperate cages from the beginning, they played out together fine so i bought the double cage but only had the divider in for one night, they now both know their places, Bellino, the younger one is actually the boss unless theyre outside the cage where Bella bosses him!

Thanks for the welcome, Bella is my eldest at 18 months and Bellino is 9 months, both are from the same breeder but not related, not sure of the sex of either of them but when they hit puberty i will be seperating them if they are the opposite sex, i have no intentions of bringing more babies into the world, ive read so often of too many unwanted ones. I have had them both since they were 12 weeks old, theyre my little angels sometimes and my little devils other times but either way they are my world, im on several forums and a mod on 3 of them, but its nice to meet new people, im assuming this is a site with people all over the world? Never come across it before but looking forward to meeting everyone, not very good at photos, i have loads of them and videos on my phone but stuck as to how to download them?
