Pookie CAG swears Greys should never get wet and that it never rains where her kind originated, she gets spray misted anyway. Spray above them so it falls over them rather than at them it is much less traumatic. Whisper a Cameroon Grey loves baths makes the spray mister sound as soon as she sees it and goes into bath mode before I even get to her turn. Smartee Pants TAG runs away and Smokey Joe CAG just tolerates it. They all get a turn to keep them healthy and comfortable. Even plain water is a help.

Who knows what motivates some people. After all there are groups of people who represent themselves as loving animals but then kill them or release them into the wild with no adjustment to enable them to survive on their own. Sometimes it is difficult to have faith in our fellow humans (using that term loosely).

Calcium at a low point in her system can produce these sort of symptoms, if the supplement is not helping please get her blood work done and a good Vet. work up. Do please keep us informed of her progress.

Great observation, they are so much like some people in handling or not able to handle stress. Working it out his own way as he develops the skills he needs to get by and succeed in being a happy guy.

Landings are the higher skills project, when Pookie my CAG was first with us she flew like a heavy rock that was just dropped, not even tossed lightly.

I agree with Jayd, you are inadvertently reinforcing the bond he had developed with Raphael when he lived at the shop. Just work on his trust building with you both, little treats, kind words & interesting things to do and see. He will replace that bond he had with Raphael but you need to avoid those love fests he was getting during those visits so he can make room for you in his heart.

Any change brings a new situation to get used to, he will adjust and feel safe again.
