  1. I emailed her last night and she isn't breeding Greys anymore but she did recomend me to another really good breeder closer to me but now my MBS has worn off lol ,I'am happy with my crew I have now and they are easy to take care of at least so far they are so maybe in the future like next year until then I will enjoy my 3 like I do every day
  2. Codys Mom

    pellet brand

I just give Rudy the small size Roudybush and she also gets some Goldenfeast (Madagascar Delite )is her favorite and also I scrape off a peice of cuttlebone and add it to her veggies
  3. Rudy and my 2 quakers Opey and Niki This is Opey and Niki
  4. Opey my quaker and Rudy my tag are best of friends, they hang out together all day, they eat each others food, preen each other and play with foot toys together so maybe is Opey is Rudys pet? lol
  5. still thinking about a baby grey , mbs is going very strong here lol , has anyone heard of the Cuckoonest? her name is Vicki and I think she is about an hour drive from me a friend at work got her baby from her and she says she is a fantastic breeder and really loves her babies and takes the best care of them , I emailed her tonight and asked her a few questions price for one cause she doesn't have it listed on her web page , just curious if anyone has knows of her or has done business with her
  6. Rudy gets a shower twice a week and we have 2 shower perches one for her and a small one for the quakers they love showers to lol , since she has been 12 weeks old I started giving her showers to get use to them now she loves them , we alos have a filter on our shower so she gets filtered water in her showers so no chlorine and she drinks filtered water
  7. first I want to say sorry that post didn't come out right what I meant to say was what 2 speices equal a Timneh but now I understand it , as for Dave you have me lost on your reply as far as adding another grey to our group of fids we are still thinking about that so nothing is planned or for sure just yet I might hold off a little while on that one like maybe until next year when Rudy is a little older but next may she will be 2 years old so that might be a bad time to and yes she is deffinitly starting to go through her teen years some days she is a real pain lol and she tends to get very bitey she will be a year old May 2nd but I'am amazed how well she hets along with Opey my little Qauker boy they love hanging out together and yes they preen each other and play together really good ,now with my new quaker she does not like her at all and will go after her every chance she gets I wonder if it's because she knows she is a female or does she know , so no plans are made yet for a new fid we are still in the thinking about it process
  8. and no I haven't been drinking , I don't drink by the way what is a TIMGO?
  9. we have 2 quakers and 1 Timneh so currently we have 3 birds
  10. ok I was wondering to start with what and what = a Timneh Grey just curious , hubby says a timeneh and a Congo = a Timneh huhhhhhhhhhh doesn't make sense to me lol now the reason why I'am asking this is we are thinking of adding either a Timneh or a Congo to our flock not this summer but maybe next spring or summer and I'am not sure if we should adopt a male or female since Rudy our Timneh is a female and she will be a year old this year May 2nd so that will make her a little over 2 years old, need opinions here so feel free to jump right in
  11. how old is Issac? Rudy was 6 months old when she finally gave up the formula
  12. put some parts together and made my first bird toy today , well Rudy liked it so I guess I did ok Opey my Quaker isn't sure what to think about it and KC loves anything he can tare apart , now Scooby had no opinion cause he is to little to care , so here it is maybe the next ones will be better , need more practice
  13. I have a male Eckie and he is real layed back , KC will be 3 years old in March and he has never been a problem and he is quiet except for when he is talking , he get fruits and veggies like the rest of my flock and he is my best eater , he loves food :)as far as how he gets along with my grey and quaker you could say he isn't a social bird he likes to stay by his self , he likes people more then birds :)we also have a parrotlet but I keep him away from the rest of the flock because of his size
