my birds will not eat Harrisons, I have tried it on all of them maybe because it's really hard food, not sure why but they all love Roudybush so Roudybush gets my vote

Rudy will be 10 weeks old this friday and she has all her feathers but I would not take her out unless it was very warm out like in the 80's and it will only be for 10 maybe 15 minutes at the most just long enough for her to get a little sunshine and fresh air

how old doe a baby have to be before u can take him outside? with a harness on, I'am thinking I have 3 days off next week and I would like to take Rudy out for some fresh air and sunshine, we have decided on Rudy for his or her name , he /she will be 10 weeks old this friday so is that to young?

wheewwwwwwwwwwww so glad to hear that cause she seems very normal in every other way, I have handfed around 5 or 6 babies before including a baby cag and never had one beg after a feeding thats why I was a little worried she gets lots of attention and after every feeding we go to the recliner and cuddle ,at her last nite feeding, I throw a soft towel around her and we get all confy and she falls asleep then hates for me to move and if I move her she goes under the towel and back to sleep lol I really think she is a girl lol but going to do dna test in a few weeks to find out for sure, ty I'am very much relieved now

when I feed our new baby he/she eats then still makes the begging noise for at least 10 minutes afterwards, he isn't still hungry because his crop is full and he is refuseing any more formula,so anyone have any idea whats is going on here,and the temp I have been feeding at is between 107 and 108 and I test it on my wrist to make sure it isn't to hot ,plus I have a digital thermomator am wondering if I should make a vet appointment or not or could this be that he or she is a little spoiled and is wanting attention after eating,I usually take him/her to the recliner with me after I clean up the mess and thats cuddling time for us , he is on 3 handfeedings and he does this everytime but he didn't do this at the breeders because I handfed him their the morning I picked him up, I don't know any advice please????

I didn't train the birds to sleep in lol they just like their sleep I guess, if I wake up at 9am and pull their covers off I can tell they were sleeping and KC will growl at me for wakeing him up

me either I'am hopeing for a boy but a little girl would be nice to,as long as he/she is healthy thats all that really counts

going to do the dna when I get the kit from Avian Botech so probably in the next week or so

KC ,Riley and Opey don't even wake up till around 10am, I have trained them well lol, but this new baby will for sure have me up early o well I don't mind

All of mine eat Roudybush,except my Eclectus he does get a very small amount every few days like a teaspoon, I'am to scared of the wing flapping and toe tapping that runs in Eckies, some can't eat pellets so I watch real close on how much he gets

we have had Riley for a month now and yes he talks when he wants lol he is stubborn,and would u believe I bought a Timneh Grey today,it was a hard decission wasn't sure to go for it or not but I did , now we have 4 to feed but it's just more love to go around and Riley will have a buddy now , I will post some pics later and tell u the story off to dinner be back later
