try haveing 3 birds lol ,Rudy my tag and Opey my Quaker are best friends they get along very well ,they spend most of the time in and on Opeys cage and they play together and eat together and preen each other , my other bird is KC my Eclectus he doesn't like Rudy or Opey he prefers human company to bird company and ignores both of them but he will let u know when he wants you to come get him and give him some 1 on 1 attention, he loves to sit in your lap and watch tv or just hang out with you, he is a people bird he loves people :)and I have no trouble keeping up with 3 birds once you get a routine going it's no biggie<br><br>Post edited by: RudysMom, at: 2009/12/19 07:18

I love Rikki's cage thats a really nice cage I'am going to get Rudy a new cage next spring or summer it's the one that is part dome and the other side has a playtop it also has a divider u can use but I won't need that ,hope she likes

Just a few pics of my 3 during the holidays theese were took in my living room where we have a small tree up I was leary about putting a big tree up in the living roon since all my birds are flighted we put the big tree in the computer room First is Opey in Santas Sleigh another of Opey next is Rudy she wouldn't go near the tree lol Rudy on the playstand KC he was a little bravier lol thats it maybe I can get some better pics later on

I took KC my Eckie to a picnic last year and it started rainging just as we were leaving , he loved it lol but he would stay in the shower for hours if we would let him as far as Rudy the tag goes she doesn't know what rain is at least not yet but she does love her showers

wow thats awsome, I wish my3 was wood chewers but they love the shredable toys and any kind of wood toy just sits in their cage forever , nice pic

was curious as to what everyone uses a friend of mine dropped by today and she was talking about they might stop selling news papers soon I guess not to many folks in michigan buying the news paper and thats what I line my bird cages with now if this happens I have no idea what would be economical and safe to use , my hubby suggested useing paper towels but I know that would be expensive as I have KC in a 42x30inch cage and Rudy is getting a new cage next year a 40x30 and Opey is in a 28x24, any safe, healthy and cheap ideas? I did find some cage liners and they sure aren't cheap and some butcher paper and that wasn't to bad priced

2 cups of Zupreme to me thats alot, my biggest eater is KC my Eclectus and he doesn't eat that much , he gets about a half of cup of GoldenFeast and about 2 Tablespoons of seed mixture a day , he doesn't eat any pellets Eclectus have problems with toe tapping and wing flapping so pellets for him is a no no and besides he won't eat them anyway , my Tag Rudy is 7 months old and she eats about a half a cup of Roudybush pellets a day plus her fruits and veggies and a Tablespoon of seed mixture and plus what she can steal from Opey my Quaker lol they are best friends and she likes to help herself to his food when she can he eats the same pellets as she does , I could be wrong , what is your baby weighing , I always watch Rudys weight it gives me a idea incase she is dropping any weight and so far her weight is good,u should try to get your baby to eat Zupreme Naturals they are better for her

Rudy will be 7 months old tomorrow and she is still on a night feeding of 20ml , is she getting to old for theese night feedings? she has never turned one down and her alarm is set to go off every night at 8:30 pm just wondering how much longer she is going to want theese feedings , not saying it's a problem or anything and she still cuddles for a good 15 minutes afterwards I will miss the cuddling time when she does quit

awww Emma is so weet you should teach her the song "how much is that doggy in the window" but instead of doggy use Birdy ,I seen a video some where of a Qauker singing that song and it was really cute , I'am going to teach Opey my Quaker that song , we are slowly working on it now , right now his favorite thing to do is call Rudy to his cage and he says Rudy is a good boy lol Rudy is a girl , he loves his buddy Rudy

well congrads and have fun with your new addition , once you get use to him/her you will think of a good name , for some reason I have always liked Rico for a male name that's what Rudy's name was going to be but Rudy turned out to be a female anyway congrads
