wow thats fantastic Rudy my tag doesn't fly very far lol she makes it 3 feet to the dineing room table then about anout 4 feet to the Recliner and from their it's about another 2 feet to Opey's cage lol, I think she likes the short easy path, she does this every day like clock work but she is still young so maybe she will take a longer flight some day

ok sign me up for the club lol I got my first bite today,I was trying to remove Rudy my Tag from her buddy Opey"s(thats my Quaker) cage, she hangs with Opey all the time they have gotten to be best buds and she decided it wasn't time for her to leave I guess, it was my fault because I did ignore her body language , I was trying to get her off Opey's cage to put her back in her cage for a few minutes and she wasn't to happy about it so she got me ,only a small amount of blood but wow does she have a sharp beak, lesson learned lol and she is only 6 and half months old

looks good to me, I'am planning on buying Rudy our Tag a new cage next spring or summer her powder coating on her cage is wearing off good thing it is on the grate not on the bars of her cage and she never goes down to the bottom of her cage so she should be ok until then

Rudy is my 6 and a half month old Tag and I have hand fed her since she was 10 weeks old and she is still takeing a night feeding , she has also decided Opey my Qauker is her best biride friend lol she loves to hang out with Opey and play with his toys and eat his food which he doesn't mind at all and they just love preening each other , she is starting to make all kind of whistle sounds and little noises , I think she will be talking soon ,I dearly love my little girl , she is the only girl Opey and KC my Eclectus are both males

wow thats alot seems like my Rudy eats Zupreme Naturals she won't touch any colored pellets finicky bird she is plus her fruits and veggies I don't measure her food I just fill her bowl close to half way full but she doesn't eat it all in one day I usually change her pellets every 2 days

just a few concerns about Rudy number 1..is 6 and half months old to old for nightly feedings? she is still takeing 20 ml of formula every nite and she will let you know it's feeding time at exactly 8:30 pm Concern 2...she eats all the time lol she eats her pellets,her Higgins seed mixture but I only give her a Tablespoon of seed mixture everyday and she eats lots of fresh veggies and fruits everyday plus her and Opey my quaker are best buds now and she will fly to his cage and sneak in and eat his Roudybush pellets, he will also fly to her cage and play with her toys , which she doesn't mind at all but he doesn't like her Zupreme Natural Pellets he just likes her toys Concern 3 her weight is running between 280 and 285 is that ok weight for her age? thanks everyone just a concerned mommy here <br><br>Post edited by: RudysMom, at: 2009/11/10 05:28

no I have no allergies I just read an article about purifiers and was wondering if I need one , but now I see I don't ty all

was just wondering if I need to buy a air purifier for the birds? I have a Quaker, Eclectus and a Tag and if I do what is the best kind? one you don't have to buy filters for would be nice but not sure if I really need one

u can catch KC talking if u sneak up on him lol where u doesn't see you, once he see's you he clams up Opey is the same way , Rudy not sure yet she will be 6 months old the 30th of this month and she is just now starting to do a variety of noises and whistles , I hope she won't be camera shy

was wondering whats the best seed mixture to feed,or do I even need to feed a seed mixture? Rudy eats her pellets , fresh fruit and vegtables everyday and for her seeds I have just been giveing her a nutriberrie about 2 or 3 times a week plus she does get a small amount of Goldenfeast Madagascar Delight which has some seeds and nuts and dehydrated fruit , I read somewhere about a really good seed mixture for greys not sure if it was organic but their was no sunflower seeds in it, wish I could find it again
