I really have to try a sneak a video of it, he backs up to it gives a quick glance back and then shoots his leg out back wards, gives it a a couple kicks then turns on it and shakes the life out of it.. He really is a comical when he is channeling his inner Jackie Chan or someone LOL

Ok it feels good to know he will love or atleast like me again I am going to try to move his toys around in the cage so he doesn't have to play near the smaller spacing. He does a funny karate kick to it and then shakes it, this is one of his favorite activity but I don't want to be panicking every time he is over there. btw THANKS!!!!

Rene was playing today and one of his talons got stuck in the cage bars, (it is the ONLY spot on the whole cage that has an uneven spacing I don't know why) he remained very calm just hanging there upside down waiting for someone to come to his rescue, I had to push his talon up and with some force got it out. I have been watching his feet nothing is swelling and nothing is red he is still climbing the cage as nothing happened...but he is very very afraid of me every time I go anywhere near him he races to get as far away from me as possible I think in rescuing him I accidentally lost some trust, does this sound odd to anyone or is this typical for them to shy away? and I have been watching him very closely just in case there is something wrong he is eating drinking playing, just not talking or whistling????

I came here last year when I was expecting a baby Grey I had a million and one questions, each was answered, and I would get varied opinions on whatever it was I asked I was welcomed right away and never looked back, I took a vacation last year after the loss of my baby, as I felt coming back and seeing pictures and listening to the fun experiences would just add salt to the wounds so to speak, as soon as I thought that another Grey was a possibility I came running right back to the Grey family and was welcomed back like I had never left And also I believe this being a forum things will inevitably get a little heated the varying minds are what keeps all of us coming back, if and when something gets to negative I skip over that post I don't need to know who wrote it or who is responding. I have been very happy with everyone here and look forward to my time on Grey Forums.

I never thought of parrot thieves!! thanks soo much for reminding me!! I keep my screen door locked at all times, but when family comes over they just tend to walk right in (through the back door of course) maybe I will just switch the sign to hurry don't let the dogs out and that will be enough. Thanks anyway for the suggestions!!

hello everyone I have been thinking alot lately about how SLOW everyone enters my front door.. and this is really disturbing especially when Rene is out so I need to put a sign on my front door asking people to move it when coming in, but I am not gifted with witty language skills as sooo many of you are so please please my extended grey family help!!!

Salsa sounds wonderful!! and most definetly keeping her parronts busy...I would love to hear the damsel in distress call HaHaHa this post made me smile.. I had the opportunity a few years ago to take in a poor zon, her owner fell ill and was wheelchair bound and could not properly take care of her anymore, I thought long and hard about it but decided against bringing her home not knowing anything about amazons or how to deal with her needs (she was severly plucked and scabbed poor thing) which her owner said happened around the time he got sick I often think about her and wonder what my life would been if I had taken that leap, and what happened to her

Well he was doing it for about an hour this morning and for his grand finish he went to the top of of his cage and hung in his his best *bat bird* immitation saying "wanna take a bath? wanna take a bath?" getting louder and louder... so I immediatly stood up and asked for a step up and asked him if he wants a bath NO DICE lol.. Im left bleeding and he's left dusty.. ooh well

I tried placing an order with Mango pets and it back-ordered, so I found a different website and actually they are 6$ cheaper, yet another happy accident So thanks again for all the help
