hi everyone, I just have a few questions for y'all, I've asked my Cousin hes the one weaning for me, but I want to get other peoples opinions, 1. What is normal weight? is there even a norm? 2. When on average do the babies start to perch my baby 6 weeks old clings to my fingers and holds on tight! But it's kind of unbalanced still makes me nervous!! 3. I want to leave the cage upstairs in my what soon will be "bird room" and have play stands swings and things through-out the rest of the house is that ok? or should I really try to figure out a spot for a cage down stairs as well?? 4. last but not least how old when they start trying to fly?? I feel like I am in such rush for all this the baby is'nt coming until late August but I'm kinda bird crazy. LoL ooh and I think we have settled on a name kind of unisex I think, those tests haven't been done yet but *drum roll* Akima it means autumn in Japanese Thanks for reading!!! Bonnie :blink:

Hey Chelseab cant wait to see the pics of your baby.. biscotti is such a cute name!! it will be interesting to see how they age together.. i just got back from seeing my baby 6 weeks oldon saturday.. i actually for the first time got to cuddle while the baby took a nap!!! it felt good to know he/she was comfy enough to sleep in my lap i'll post my pics from tonight as soon as i can

just a quick question where is the best place to get them.. i can't find them at the local pet shops where do you order online?? I'm trying to get as swings ladders and ropes as i can to spread them through-out the house

parden my spelling as i have No idea how to spell it but his name is Dulchae, like dulchae and cabana, just cause hes so expensive.. he is either 2 or 3 yrs old, i think a little closer to 2 because they wean at 2

my boyfriend's parents have a Goffin her name is carrie, she is an awesome clever mischievious vengeful 'too lol she is "married" to my boyfriend no one understands her like him.. she is ok with me but her bites really hurt, and in my expierence goffins have a sound all there own, its a little high pitched and always the saaammmee Carrie is a clown don't get me wrong.... I think Emma is just amazing, i have been "stalking" youtube for a loong time watching all the grey video's and have come across you and emma alot..I love to listen to the great vocab from these birds simply amazing!!

Just joined the site yesterday, and learning how to navigate, I have never used a forum so bare with me, a little about myself, my boyfriend and I expecting our first CAG late in August my cousin an expierenced hand feeder is taking care of that for me, we go up every week to take pictures and learn all things baby... he/she will be joining my other birds a quaker, a lovebird, and my last remaining parakeet (we had 5 but lost 4 in Decembers Ice Storm) and also my 2 rottie's were so excited and I am simply amazed by these wonderful birds, well hopefully I posted this correctely and can figure out how to reply!!! thanks for the awesome site!!
