ok I have had ZZero outside before he is always so obsessed with his harness I dont even think he knows hes out there. Its been cold and cloudy here but today the sun is shining bright so I wanted him to sit in the sun. he was on my hand sitting in a part of the room he is very used to but everytime I would move him into the sun he would fly away like he was scared to death. We moved to a differnt part with no sun he was fine, moved to a different room where the sun was coming in and he did the same thing. I wonder mabey hes afraid of the dust in the air but this would definalty be a first hes never scared of anything. wierd ?? I am not sure if being afraid of the sun is really possible but... wierd

h Heres mine I made everything you see all by myself the swings at the top are made of embroidery rings that I wrapped with rope and a stainless stell flex line I shaped and wrapped with rope. The main stand I went to HOME DEPOT and bought the pre cut table top and precut legs, made the table covered with sticky squares of linolium. The branches were from my back yard they are Crepe Myrtle ( SAFE WOOD!! ) I screwed the wood on then attched L brackets for strength. Whole things cost me mabey $ 30 and was so much fun to make. I was so proud of myself )

Thanks you guys !! I love him so much {Love-00020113} BlueKKiwi My transition went very easy I only met him once before he came home. My breeder was just excelent in his socailization he wasnt afraid of anything. I introduced him to the family all at the same level at the kitchen table and let him take turns coming and saying hi to us, so far he loves everyone in the family. One of the reasons I chose him cause he was a cuddle bug and am so glad he has remained so! We hit it off right away but I let him do things on his time and tried to show him somthing different everyday so far so good . Congrats on a new baby in Jan !! you will be soo happy!!

Thank you evryone for the responses. I started with the shoulder when I was working with him and the dogs cause I knew he would stay put and the dogs would not even try to get at him . I will reinforce the good and try to ignore the bad. It seems the dogs and him are friends now so I dont really have a need of my own to have him on the shoulder so I am gonna try and Nix it Thank you thank you Cindy

OK I am having little arguments with ZZero there are times when he just plain refuses to step up. I have let him on my shoulder and am kinda starting to regret this decision cause if I want him off I have to shoo him and make him fly to his cage. He will flip upside down to avoid stepping up. He also does this ofotn from his playstand and top of the fridge ( favorite spot). How do I reinforce when I expect him to step up to do it with out argument?? ( he knows the command )I know he has a mind of his own but somtimes its a little rediculous Thanks in advance )

OMG OMG OMG !!! Amazing they are so darn ugly but so beautiful and cute at the same time ) Congrats, its amazes me how they are born with out all the little parts done yet and develope into the most amazing creature.

Wow what a month!! I am having so much fun and am so inlove!! He is just perfect in everyway he fits right in and is so accepting. We are bathing very well sometimes he just sits on the perch and and closes his eyes under the water and other times he dances around and gets really soaked. I take him with me every day somtimes he gets wet other time he just sings to me. He seems to be talking up a storm and I swear he has said Hello and Peek-a-boo I swear !!but he babbles alot and sings loud somtimes. Mostly hes quiet and hes so smart I like to nap on the couch for about 30 mins every afternoon when he sees me lay down he just quiets down and take a snooze with me, PERFECT Play time is a blast We started trick training when I first got him home and in the first sessions he learned "Turn Around" "wave" and "Shake"!! but he will only do them on the training stand. when I put him on it he starts turning around and around I have to tell him NO we are gonna work on somthing else but its soo dang cute!! At 11 - 12 every day is hyper time he flys flys flys so now I set him on his play stand and say "Ready,set. GO!!" and we race the hallway he does this over and over and we play hide and seek and he will hover go in and outta rooms and find me Such a BLAST!! When I first brought him home I became very worried about my dogs they seemed so obsessed with him I thought I would never have them together. I worked hard on this situation as I wanted him to be outta cage alot and my dogs are glued to me. Well after hard work and patience we have now had several evenings all together and the dogs are doing great. I am still over careful and will remain so but my stress level is way way down . I actually let ZZero and my Shih tzu ozzy play on the bed together yesterday my other one just walks away. Ok I know I wrote a Novel but I wanted to express how truly happy I am with my decision to get my new best friend!!

I wanna learn about whats going on in other countries and I am sure they are interested also. This is a very important time for americans and the world in general. This is huge for us and the decisions being made at this time will infact touch all in different ways. This is a OFF TOPIC room and I have been surprised no body has mentioned this election yet!! I can definatly see arguments if we went into the issues at hand cause everyone has a different outlook on things as we are a very diverse group but I do not think it so unbelievable that this very very important time for America has been brought up. This was a reminder of a date to do whats important and that all!!
