OH finally I am sooooo happy and excited for you !! We have to figure out what sex or do you want a name that will work for both?? Your pug will get there fast I did the close up introductions in the bathroom where I felt more in control. cant wait to hear more and where are the pics!!!

I thought it would be interesting to see what differences our greys have that makes them ,well them. If your grey was in a sea of grey birds with red tails How would you know yours?? besides the running screaming "MOM/DAD get me away from all the birds!" ZZero has a couple tell tale signs He has a pink mouth and tongue and a funny oblong shaped head hehe. I agree we dont know the situation and we as a group love our babys so much we cant fathom anything different I understand changes in enviroment,financial, hardships,sick family.. what I felt from the post was one pet for another and it did not sit well with me... mabey there is other circumstances but it is still hard to understand but I am not in her shoes.

The post was not posted by the seller or adoptor Did you read the post?? They responded with the story and its cause they bought a new dog. I believe in commitment and I would never get rid of one pet for another I worked hard to get my dogs to accept my bird but if they didnt I would have found a way to balance cause I made a commitment. but thats just me sorry I seem judgmental but if people took the commitment seriously....<br><br>Post edited by: cflanny, at: 2008/11/25 20:16

I love this forum!! Talon you are crazy but its a great crazy !! I want to ring this ladys neck !! I hope one of us gets him ! I wish I was close but I am on the other coast.

Its only gotten better, my Shiba ( the one who worried me the most) loves just to hang around ZZero and wait for treats to dropp. They were nose to nose last night I just watched carfully and let her get a good smell of him then she just ignores. The Shih tzu wants to play and so does ZZero so I have let them get close with me on the bed I think they are inlove:) Thanks for the comments I am very happy and proud of my family. Now if I can get my 16 year old son to sit in th eliving room he would be in pics too! but hes on the phone with his girlfriend ALWAYS!

HEHE I havent heard it since its been a array of all kinds of things now he priming for somthing big. When ever he chatters I say " Hi my names ZZero and I love my mommy!" mabey I will get that for a Xmas present! When he contacts I yell back "marco" I was in the front yard and he was desperatly trying to call to me which turned into crys and then I heard it "Marco!!" so I yelled back "Polo" Thanks everyone for your coments Its gonna be fun!:laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

Yesterday it was very rainy and gloomy here ZZero was very quiet all day just kinda slept off and on. I was a little worried but I thought mabey he felt like me about the weather. Today the sun is shining thru (barley) and he hasnt stopped chatting all day. I heard "hello, HI" I was so excited but he wouldnt say it again so I thought I was crazy. Since I sat down to do some work on the comp he keeps saying Hello over and over in different tones and voices!! Yea how fun its gonna be )

My husband is from Orange and my friend is visiting this week his parent were evacuated and another friend is waiting to see whether his house is gone his niegbors know their house burned but they have yet to find out if they have a home left. I live in Napa to the north not close enough to help but I would if I could . Karma to you for helping and offering to open your home:)

Very nice family you have. Whats it like to own a dove? I have a wild dove who has layed her eggs in my hanging plant right by my back door for years and she lets me come see the babys and everything. I ran accross this today thought it was cute

I have a wierd way of wieghing I dont have a bird scale but a regular flat scale for kitchen. I place a roll of toilet paper on its end and have him stand on the roll works great just make sure you set the Tare for the scale
