Wonderful job, its so nice to cuddle with them , my Zzero loves to cuddle. Sounds like you had a great time in the shower and are very lucky the water was not a enemy to her, keep it up and make it fun. One thing lol I dont let Zzero watch cops because of all the terrible sounds hehe sirens is not somthing you want her learning. Just a hint lol

oh Julie I am so sorry for what happened, I know no condolences will ease your pain, but I am real glad you put your energy into providing this information for others to learn from. I hope it helps to know(just a little) that you may very well save many other lives. I read your whole story and you tried to everything just right you are not to blame for anything, you were a very great mommy.

My new love and when and if I get another bird will definatly be a White bellied Caique. I have been around a few lately and they are a constant show. When they say they are the clowns of the parrot world they are not exagerating. My friends was doing a headstand in his food the other day, feet not touching anything just sitting there, he also constantly plays on his back and does summersaults. Was so cute he just went thru a huge molt and he would sit and itch himself with his talons or whatever tool he could find. I laugh the whole time I am around them. they are not huge talkers but personality takes over. heres a link to a little explanation about them http://www.caique-parrot-pet-birds.com/ make sure you see the photo laying upside down in the dogs arms!! that explains them perfectly. YOu would probley never be able to put this bird in the same cage as your grey, they are much smaller and a grey could hurt them easily but my friend says he has never met one that didnt love every bird /person they met. You know I saw once, if you take a paper towel and put a hole in the center you can slip it over babys head while feading and it will catch alot of gunk, also starts a little training to get ready for harness .

Thanks he is so cute {Love-00020113} Cait yes he pulled himself up perfect couldnt believe it LOL They do look like a old married couple. I cant believe how much they love each other. I was worried when ZZero came home that they might not even be able to be in the same room, I am so glad I am wrong.

I spend hundreds on toys and this holds ZZeros attention for hours Gimme that peanut!! this was so funny he could stretch this far and not fall he righted himself perfect lol fearless This is the one dog I worried about but ZZero has fallen inlove with her and they like spend time together. tytytytytyt we are gonna start working again today the weather just hit 80 !!! I stopped for awhile cause it ended being so tramatic for both of us but I really want to do this for him and myself. The pics were perfect I really appreciate them . We should sticky this post:)

quik question Have you only been putting the tightner on his back?? I was trying to do it on his belly and the tighting process hurt my hands from him biting me, not too hard but enough to let me know he was annoyed. Also I can get it on ok and make it outside its the getting it off that he gets real annoyed mabey if I didnt have to reach around to his belly it would be esier.

ZZero has been molting for over a month and hes only 10 months?? we have lost and gotten lots on his head and back of neck, He is doing his shoulder blades now. I think its a molt cause I find mabey 4-6 grey feathers a day and tons and tons of down. he has tons of pins and his feathers seem very healthy . We have one new solid red tail feather also Is this way to early for him??

Some ovens do have nonstick components, in a self cleaning cycle the oven is heated beyond normal temps which depending on the oven definatly could release PTFE. I would personally not do it but I am no expert but it just seems that its not worth the risk . PTFE is not somthing to experiment with imo its instant and deadly.

I have a wonderful breeder in Northern California I know she has 1 female atm they sell fully weined and she is the best they are very very socialized. ZZero cuddle me all up and down my chin the seocnd i met him I knew:) heres a link read all thru her website and you will get to know her weel and be amazed. She has alot of birds and a ranch to care for lol so just a fyi, she usually communicates in the evenings. So cute !! Talk about a great mama, you are one of the best I know! hes gonna seem so grown up soon these babies amaze me with how fast they grow and feather, but they are still babies for a long time, then you get to go thru the teenege years!

Yea ZZero now loves the stand and wont let me take him off it
