I have a cabob like device where you put all the veggies on it ZZero loves it goes first before anything in his bowl cause its like a toy with veggies mabey he would have fun with it. I got it in the rodent section of the pet store, just hangs in the cage with a bell on the bottom.

They seem so little when standing on your finger just adorable!! I wish I could have gotten ZZeros brother too but man what a handful Good luck to you!!

I bring Zzero in the shower with me everytime I go he loves the water first I would just let it bounce off my hands and body till he got used to it now I just let it run over him and he loves it so much he falls asleep!! Also if I feel its too cold I just let him steam but he does get drenched wet several times a week. Dance around ( with out falling lol) splash make it alot of fun . I have started to blow dry ZZero but most say its not nessasary they dry pretty fast but he enjoys the blower so thats just another game we play. My hubby wont watch with me anymore cuase he found out about the accent, he says it drives him crazy and he goes the the garage:P

ZZero goes in the shower with me, at first I just let the water bounce off me or my hands he might not get soaked but if you make it fun singing and acting silly he might enjoy it. Now he wants the water right on him and he falls asleep!! or just put him on the shower rod or at the top and let the steam hit him just a little usually this calms them and he can see you playing in the water . ZZero showers with me daily he doesnt always get soaked but we have a great time. We also made a game of the spray bottle I play peek-a-boo and mist above his head so it just gently falls on him he has a BLAST! and the end result is he gets very wet. Just some idea to try and make the experiences fun. he does not have to be soaked you will get there small steps that are FUN!! You also want to know what the breeder has done to already socialize baby, showers , dogs, vaccuums, bright color toys.... has she been showing baby these things so he not afraid of everything. 5 Months coming from a breeder right?? DNA testing is personal choice the only medical reason to know would be for you to expect eggs eventually and educate yourself on eggbinding, this is when the egg does not come out succesfully and is a serious risk if you are not educated on how to help your bird. 5 month old is just a baby and he/she will adapt to you just fine!! It should be fully weaned( or close) at this point and able to eat lots of goodies. Welcome to the forum and good luck hope you fall head of heels today ! oh and your repair man was totally wrong if anything Timnehs are more social and less fearfull but this is not proven and most say its about the same. Timneh are indepentent from parents in the wild about 6 months before a CongoAG which they say may play some part.

I was thinking about this because you have such a large flock I think you could put in a fire system for the bird room atleast with sprinklers also you should contact your local fire station and let them know the birds are there and that their saftey first before the home so they dont come in with the fire hose all out, it will come up on their comp that the birds are there and that they should be first priority(of course your human family first ) they would enter the property differently and try and carry cages first. A sprinkler system would be huge as it would mabey allow time for them to get out . Just a thought process of mine. We had a fire just awhile back I grabbed my dogs and a box of pics that could not be replaced and the rest was just well not important at that moment, just material.

I am so glad you like them He is such a character and so full of energy. Poor things is still having to share time in and outta cage with the dogs but he gets a good amount of time. The dogs seem settled I am just a scardy cat. I am enjoying him soooo much I am just so inlove )
