Thanks folks. I don't let her try everything (much to her disgust!) but the morning cuppa is "our time" as we're often the first ones up, and on a couple of occasions I've left her like, a teaspoonful in the bottom of the cup! She loves it, and it could become a regular thing!! Thanks. xx

I've let Alfie listen to (carefully chosen) youtube videos more or less since we got her, and although she listens intently, I never heard her copy any of them until a week or so ago! We were watching a video on Youtube called "I love you strong and tight" (the sweetest video ever!), at least I think it was that one, we've watched a few of Emma's vids! At one point Alfie flew off the back of the couch where she had been watching, and up on to the top of her cage and said "hi Emma!" She had obviously been paying attention! x

3 and a half inches?? Are you sure he swallowed it - that must have taken some doing for a young bird!! If you are in no doubt I would think you have to get him to a vet as soon as you can, it sounds a bit serious to me. x
