3. Most certainly have. I was brought up in a similar way. I think Rememberance is a tradition that should never be forgotten about. I had my 2 minutes at the field - very peaceful and tranquil - a million miles away from what we are remembering! So good for you Jill, for teaching your children the same. x

7. Hehe Janet!! You're right! She's never still!! In fact - I think it's fair to say she's exhausting - but she's David's bird when she's in that mood!! And she's mine when she's cuddley!!{Feel-good-0002006E} Judy, no problem at all, but you realise, I would have to chaperone her if she were to come and hoover for you?!! Thanks for looking! x
8. Ah Dee! He's stunning!! And Ann and Tom sound like really great folk! This has, I'm sure been worth the wait for you! I can't wait to hear how things unfold for you! I have to say, I was too busy worrying that I was doing something wrong during the baby phase, to fully enjoy it! Don't let that happen to you! I know you've been a wee bit worried as this day drew nearer, but you've prepared so well, and done so much homework, you must just relax now and really enjoy this - he'll grow up so fast! Soooo, we'll see you in a month (or two) when you've stopped drooling over Juno!! xx
9. Good news Dee! You've been sooooo patient! Now after the nerve wracking bit of the transition/settling in period, comes the fun bit of getting to know your boy! Enjoy!! xx

The joys of living with a bird brain!!{Feel-good-0002006E} And yes - the hoover is ONE of Alfies obsessions!! Lovethatgrey, she sure is. In fact Alfie and the chihuahua compete for the title of Queen Diva!!! It's a close call sometimes but I think Alf has Tia pipped!!! xx P.s. sorry I boobed - got my love/luvs mixed up!!

Post edited by: pearllyn, at: 2009/11/07 21:24

19. Hi Brad and Scooter, and welcome to the forum. Karma to you Brad for taking on an older bird. As the others have said, a trip to the vet at this stage is well worth it to get a full health check. Trying to get in touch with the previous owners is a great idea, and as Dan said, would most likely be appreciated by them, as well as being of benefit to you and Scooter. I hope his eye isn't too serious, and I'm sure you and he have many happy years ahead! Lyn & Alfie x P.s. We do love photos here, so would love to see some if you get a minute!!
20. Lol - good video! She's having such fun!! x
21. Fingers crossed Judy. Alf hasn't chewed any since they grew back!

23. Poor Bernie. Here's a bucket load of sympathy for you! xx
24. Ooh! How exciting!! Congratulations - You must be really proud of your little man! chimaysmommy wrote: Lol, as soon as Alf came out with her first words I set the video up and captured about an hour and a half of whistles and pops before she repeated herself and gave me the 7 seconds worth that eventually went on youtube!! Congrats again - looking forward to the vid once you get it!! x
25. Poor little scrap. Perhaps you could suggest to the breeder that although you are keen to take this baby, you would like to know the extent of the problem, and if the bird is eating ok, before you decide.
