  4. I'm going to give Alfie some, see what she thinks! Thanks for the idea - although it is that time of year!! x
  5. Ooh I'd love to hear Chloe's Guinea Pig - they're soooo sweet!
  6. Is he one of those colou mutations or is this a natural occurance, like a one off sort of thing? I'd like to see him full grown.
  7. Interesting right enough. With the bite alfie has on her - I'd vote raptor, but a friendly one!!
  8. Lol Julie, thanks. I'm really bad for just looking at the pictures and not reading what goes with them!! Here are some of my local landscapes, Berwickshire Scotland. And finally, one of the locals...
  9. Julie thats lovely scenery, could you tell us what these places are called? Or would that breach confidentiality thingy? Or just the landmarks maybe? x
  10. :woohoo: Woohoo! I'm off this Friday - first one in two years - so chances are I'll be F.A.R.Ting all night with you!! See you then fellow F.A.R.T.ers!! x
  11. Pat, I do hope your birds will be ok. I'm not too sure about the implications here, but from what I've read on birds inhaling fumes, the reaction is usually instant? So hopefully all will be well. x
  12. Rhonnie, I do believe everything happens for a reason, and if the lady with jessie didn't get back to you, it just maybe means this little man needs you more! Would love to see some pics when he's ready. Glad to hear Bill's doing better. x
  13. Honestly Jill, don't be rediculous! It's just a saying - I would NEVER have pterodactyl stew!! :woohoo: :side: :silly: :woohoo:
  14. Don't despair just yet, personality changes in your grey are par for the course. Here is a very helpful thread you may find intereseting. http://www.greyforums.net/forums/limitstart/20/the-nursery/126227-grey-personality-changes-in-years.html Although your bird is a little young to be hormonal himself, I do believe these birds can detect hormone changes in their humans, and act on them. Just do as the others have suggested and continue as normal, and hopefully things will even out. x
  15. #2 three ghosts thought
  16. Wow Penny, she is so pretty - no wonder you couldn't resist her! But I guess with a carrier in the car, there was less room for toys.....?
  17. You gotta count Dee!! And seriously, I wasn't kidding about the grey hairs, I really did get them! x
  18. Hehe, thanks Mingus - Alfie is particularly proud of that shot!! Jan, Tobie is just amazing! Imagine him being able to put words he knows, into context while he's watching telly!!! We were once watching springwatch (yearly uk wildlife programme) and there was a close up of some sort of raptor, I think maybe a Goshawk, flying towards the camera and Alfie ducked!!
  19. Ahh Rhonnie! He is gorgeous - such vibrant colours!! Thanks for sharing. x
  20. Hehe Dee, try not to worry about the brain damage, it's minimal! You should get the hair dye at the ready tho, I got 3 grey hairs over Alfies visits to the vet this summer!! 11 days and counting!!
