1. LOL JudyGram!! I was just joking because I wanted the Sun!!:side: I have seen at least 50 Sonny's or Sunny's on various websites in web surfing over the last year. CD - GULP , sorry no implications there  Wish I had a Sun too!
2. Oh Jesus, Duuuaaah, just slap me stupid....UGH God that HURTS!!:blink: Well, I am sticking to the claim that it "Just" appeared on my screen due to this website experiencing technical difficulties with it's graphical refresh on IE 7 {Emotions-000200B8}
3. Yes, Judy they are just a bundle of Joy and Laughs! I asked the person thats buying it today what she's going to name it......Sunny, I would have atleast given it a proper name like Bozo :silly:

6. You get the Brass ring Judygram!! But , I feel and look (ahem 30) and I claim I was born at least 1500 years too soon. I was supposed to be Scotty the Engineer on the Starship Enterprise....The last second miracle worker :woohoo:

8. God Bless you Talon!! But, my Wife is 3 months younger than I am Look up about thee posts to Daysmom... :side:
9. Ok, my wife spoiled half the fun I was going to have with this one!! Anyway, I still won't straight up tell you my age, you need to use your noodle a little bit to figure it out :-) I was old enough to remember when my Father purchased a new 1957 Chevy. I was in Grade school when the Cuban crisis occurred and everyone was building bomb shelters in their backyards for fear of Nuclear War. I was in the 6th grade when JFK was assassinated and it all but shut school down that day. I watched the first men set foot on the Moon. I watched the Beatles make there first appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show. I watched The Lone Ranger, Lassie, Gun Smoke and Bonanza in Black and White TV. My Father was one of the first in our City to purchase the new and exciting "Color TV". When I installed a thumping stereo in my 1958 Corvette, it was an 8 Track Tape Unit I was Drafted during the Vietnam War, I spent 7 years in the Military and got out in 197? :-) Now the easy clue for you.....I married a younger Woman, she is 3 Months younger than I am....
10. Ten-Hut -Yes Mam JudyGram, I hear you loud an clear :-) I would help you without the expectation of any return...Pay it forward. Did you see that movie by the way? It was great! THANK YOU!!!
11. We have: 1 CAG - Dayo at the Breeders :-( 1 Peach Front Conure - Jake 2 Doberman's - Bentley and Chloe 1 - Huge Koi in our Waterfall Pond ... I need to replace the other that jumped out and we found dried up :-( And I have seen at least 2 Rats running down the fence at times driving our Doberman's crazy :-) ...They will not be a part of this family, as soon as they get caught!

Post edited by: danmcq, at: 2007/07/08 03:16
12. Thanks Judygram - Please don't give me Karma unless I post something worthy of it :-) I see many informative and great posts here everyday. I try to spread out my 2 each day to the different members I see post everyday, yet their Karma stays the same :-( CD - You deserve a ton more from where I stand! I know how much being an admin requires :-)

Post edited by: danmcq, at: 2007/07/08 03:08
13. Excellent information dblhelix and Geoff! These are being stored in my Biting repository!!
14. Congratulations JudyGram - I gave you + Karma this morning and forgot to mention it :-) CD - Here's + Karma at Ya Buddy!! Congratulations!!
15. Hi dblHelix, That Amazon has had a very blessed life so far! I am too scared not to have an avian vet perform regular checkups though. I also would be in the Vet's office the instant I thought my Parrot squawked funny :-) That's just me, I am paranoid about critters that can not tell me something is really wrong.
16. Thanks Talon! Now I just need the hardware and then Dayo to make it complete :-)
17. HeatherStrella wrote: Hi HeatherStrella, Of course it is wasn't you, it's always the Dobermans here, that are the culprits That was more information than I needed to know :woohoo: I need to design a noise cancellation device specifically dialed in for the frequency those "Noises" we Grey owners don't want them picking up:silly: All kidding aside, it sounds like your Grey is going to perhaps surpass Einstein in vocabulary and sound effects! Keep sharing them!!!
18. Hi CD and All, It's interesting to hear how everyone's Parrot let's their owners know they are smiling on the inside and happy to see them. It's as if they are a son or daughter running to you all wide eyed, big grin saying daddy, mommy, daddy when you walk in the door  It will be interesting to hear all the individual characteristics of how each one of our Grey's lets us know!
19. Hi Lidia, I am not certain about being the biggest on the Forum. From what I have read, all CAG's range from 400 to 650 Grams. Now I'm getting worried that he'll never get off the ground to fledge  or he may be able to carry me around, if he continues at this rate:woohoo: I suspect though, that he will loose a lot of weight when he starts fledging as I have read in several sources. Yes, the Breeder is wonderful and very helpful. I don't know if it's common, but she had us in her Kitchen first thing, to show us what and how she cooks up food for them. She teaches us at least 2 or 3 important things to know every time we visit. I will tell the Breeder of your praise next Saturday!
20. Hi Geoff, If Mirek is only 3 days younger than Dayo, we should be able to compare notes on their progress then. Yes, the Breeder seems to have a lot of confidence in us and she is really great at sharing her knowledge also. Your going to make us wait for photo's? Ugh, but Wednesday is not that much further off! So we will patiently wait... I believe you may be in for a surprise, in that replacing one Bird for another, is going to be full of demands of your time, attention and money also
21. Here's my partially assembled Cage as I wait for some hardware that was missing to complete the assembly. It seems to work out good that Dayo isn't ready to come home for some play time until next weekend :-)
22. Thanks you guys! Just a little disappointed that Dayo is a week younger than previous thought... Oh well, it's still fun playing with him and the rest of the clutch :-) That little sun is a ball of fire and in everything!!! The breeder did say though, that once Dayo starts eating a little more on his own, which he did pretty good today....That we can bring him home for 5 - 6 hours at a time and start interacting with him more and getting him used to his permanent home and cage ....Ya Hoooo :woohoo: :woohoo: Heres his clutch in the cage....when I tried to put my hand in, they all tried to bite really hard..the buggers are getting protective of their home...imagine that :-)

Post edited by: danmcq, at: 2007/07/07 23:28
23. Sorry...had problem with images and could not redo it. We just got back from the Breeders visiting Dayo. We also received his actual Hatch Date 4-28-07. So today he is 10 weeks old. We were off by one week in our previous understanding. He weighed 527 grams Today. Here are some photo's we took today: Dayo Posing: [/img] Post edited by: danmcq, at: 2007/07/07 23:17

Post edited by: danmcq, at: 2007/07/07 23:19
