I "wobble" for any kind of biting even when it dose not hurt. (mostly with my quakers dont have to with my grey she dont bite) I do time outs for over excitement that I think can lead to biting mostly with my amazon. But I dont do any kind of aggressive type "punishments" with any of my parrots. Oh and not one of my parrots are allowed on my shoulder I like my ears and eyes just as they are. :laugh:

I am so glad the bird Talon got worked out perfect. And I know some people that ship and have had birds shipped. I put off getting a blue quaker for years cause I didn't want to ship but many people do and have had great success with it.

Can you get some instant ounces? Well he eat peanut butter? Have you tried many different textures? At this point even seed would be a good way to get weight on. Can you spoon fed? Do you know how to hand fed? How come the vet did not keep him and tube fed for a few days? Was it an avian vet? If not you should find one and make an appointment. I would never have a bird shipped to me that I have not at least seen and played with. Guess Im not a trusting sort of person. I would worry the bird would not be sweet even if the breeder had a good rep the bird may get here and not like me at all. JMO And I am sure others think very different then me.

We have been getting that question a lot her lately. So I looked up a great article on this matter. You know I have heard of grey's growling but so far mine has not. She well scream very loud and flap around if something she don't like it around and when she is happy or wants attention she well bob like my quakers do with all her feathers fluffed up. I tried that with Que after I saw your movie CD and it went badly she screamed and flapped and bite me. No blood but still first time she has ever bite me. maybe if I had started that 6 years ago when she started refussing pets but I didnt so back to towel training.

I'm like silly names that you wont hear a lot. Que is a personality in the Star Trek Next Generation shows. And that guy was to smart for his own good and got bored easy. So thought it would fit a grey and be silly and you don't hear it a lot for a pet name. However I had to change the spelling people on the Quaker forums kept thinking I was talking about a quaker. Many use a Q for short.

Unfortanly I have a couple with no avatar and my notes don't always pop up when I put my curser on them. So for now I just click till I find the one I want. :evil:

Mine is only 8 years old. So Im sure someone has one older.

Don't buy from a pet store. Try finding a breeder near by.

My harness for Topaz is on order. Ill let you know when I see it.
