  1. Wow I love them all. Karma to you.
  2. Its ok to disagree but people that have birds that can be allowed together are few and far between and it is still risky.
  3. In most cases you don't not unless you don't mind running to the vet when one hurts the other. It is very rare when hand raised birds get along. I believe this has to do with not really knowing how to be a bird and not being able to get away from each other like they can in the wild cause of lack of room. I know people say "oh but I watch them" but it only takes the blink of an eye and someone has lost a toe or beak. Only birds I have been able to be nice to each other is my birds that were raised together. They are house in separate cages but I can still let them out at the same time without any problems.
  4. I love red loreds. Could someone with the power to do so please move this post to the other bird area. Thank you very much.
  5. Sometime this afternoon this well be done. Sure wish I could get some more votes today.:side:
  6. Parrotlets have short tails like our greys.

Not sure what these are. But I can tell you this salt is very bad for parrots.
  9. It am starting to think you are not a bird person. You NEVER bite a bird back or hit it EVER. Birds to not learn anything by being grabbed an force except maybe to mistrust any human ever again. Birds are not dogs. Now well they ever be. If you want a dog get a dog not a bird. Patience, love, understand and lots of time are what a bird requires. As far as him being grateful birds do not think like that. He is in a new scary place. With new people and things all around him. Unlike dogs birds are the food that is hunted so it takes them a while to learn to trust. Oh and just a heads up we don't like for any cuss words to be used on this forum we have several people here underage and you can express yourself without using them. If you think you well ever hit your bird then for anything then I think it is time to find it a new home before you do him any harm. Good luck
  10. Hehe Judy that is not Topaz. Topaz is a blue quaker. This is my Doodlebug a male but parrotlet. lol
  11. I had to redo this one three times. Adding stuff to it every time before I got it the way I wanted it.
  12. Only 10 votes? Come on guys what is going on here normally I get around 17 to 19 votes. You got one more day lets do it.
  13. It can take months for a sound or noise to go away. Que says Pretty Puppy. She started this back when I worked at pretty puppy. I have been away from that place for almost five years. She still well say Pretty Puppy. When she does I well reply with Pretty Bird. Over the years she says it less but she well still say it sometimes.
  14. Gratz. Why did he give her up? And he is coming to the forum cause he still has oher greys?
  15. My Que does both of those. The bowing down fluffing if the bird is not growling is a come hither kind of thing. Cooing is what greys do.
  16. Funny my Que sleeps on the lowest perch. My Joey (amazon) usally sleeps on the floor of his cage. The quakers all sleep up high as do the budgies. Doodlebug (p'let) sleeps in his coconut shell. Guess each is different.
  17. Aww so cool. Glad you have one that well talk.
  18. I got Que to take bath by putting in a small bowl of water and putting veggies in the bowl. She would go after the veggies and get wet. It took her six months to figure out she could get really wet in the bowl. Now she takes a bath with no issues. She never did like to be misted.
  19. Que's did some. Less playfull. Does not like to be touched anymore. But still a great bird.
  20. Wash them they should be fine.
  21. Look sideways and a tad small but hey I can see a bird. lol At first I though the bird was perching at a weird angle.
