So far Que does not do quaker sounds but she does to the budgie ones. Funny cause I have had quakers a lot longer. lol

Since you did not notice the toe missing it is possible the pet store people didn't either. Either way he well be fine.

Steady and swing just don't go together. lol Not sure how to stop the dowel from moving unless there is a a bird friendly glue you can shot in there to stop the moving? Just shooting in the dark here cause not sure what you mean. Can we get some pictures of the swing? Maybe that would help us figure something out.

There is one of those chickens on the farm. However it is brown. lol And there is a duck but not one like that.

No none of mine have acted like that. Glad she is feeling better. If it happens again think I would go to the vet.

It is going to be really hard with this last one cause I have had it for so long. But if I keep it I would have to rehome the breeder pair and not have any more babies. I so enjoy my babies. Watching them grow. Hearing the first words.....

Known to be loud? No not really. Mine do chat a lot. But they talk they do not scream. They only scream if something is wrong. And right now I have three in the house and still not loud. Noisy sometimes but not loud. Macaw's are loud, Too's are loud. Amazone's are loud. lol Quakers just like to be noisy. lol Mine have started to sing. Itsy Bitsy Quaker and Buster (the Baby that is still here) Started saying I love you and Want to come out. So funny when he says Want to come out he usally says Step up right behind it then Good bird. He is very smart bird. :woohoo: I am so going to miss him when he goes to a forever home.

I boil water with orange peal in it. Or I well piece an apple with a fork and leave it out. The idea of potpurri worries me that it may be sprayed and not all natural. Unless it tells you EVERYTHING that is in it. Even then I don't use a warmer just set it out in a bowl.

Strangely enough Topaz never screams. From time to time Dandy well but only cause the cat got to close to his cage. lol The breeder pair on the other hand...

Yep all you need is bigger pvc pipe.

OH dear. I have heard of people whose birds won't poop in the cage. Which can be a really problem if you work full time. I read somewhere that one lady had to call her house and tell her bird to go poop on the machine. lol
