  1. This is so generous of you Tari, I'm sure lots of them will take you up on your offer, even me.
  2. Thanks Makena, for the reply, we will be waiting for the news.
  3. Yes we can, Tari, and I have already entered so I know there are others that have ones they want to enter so I have some competition, come on guys, get with it.:blink:
  4. But you get so much room, the budgies are lost in it and you never find them. I wish I had a good looking date for Saturday night.
  5. Tari speaks her mind, she does not pull any punches, but she means no harm, she has only our best interests at heart.
  6. Well after you bond with your bird and you have had it for over a year, then you can leave for several weeks and they should not be affected. Some of them here on the forum have done that very thing, and they returned to no problems, just a happy bird, glad to see them. So if your breeder can keep the bird a little longer, I think you will not have a problem, then when you get back, get the grey and bond with it before going off on another long trip. The feather plucking can be caused by different things, but I wouldn't worry about it at this point, if you pay attention to a lot of the information we have here, you may never have a problem. Now even though you do not have the bird yet, you can still introduce yourself on the welcome page, we would like to know a little more about you, helps us feel more like a family here.
  7. Aww Beccy, have you not learned anything, you don't talk your spouse into anything, you just do, if I had to talk my hubby into things for me I would have nothing. If you want them, then get them, he can learn to like them or leave them alone.:ohmy: I have been married for nearly 40 years and we did not get this far by my having to ask permission for things, I just do it.:whistle: Thanks, Tari for sharing these photos with us, I love the budgies too and Pepper is a cutie.
  8. But the space station veers off course and you are lost in space. I wish I could float on a cloud.

    Asthma

    When you love your grey, you will check out all possibilities to try to alleviate the problem before you even think of getting a new home for your bird. I know I would move heaven and earth for mine.

    Very good idea, Talon, popsicle sticks, and cheap too.
  11. I am so glad to hear this news, and that is wonderful that he is making a housecall, that is unusual for sure. Thanks for updating us on this situation, we were worried as we are all family here and we care about each and every one of our members.
  12. Well hello, Dennis, nice to finally meet you, and thanks for sharing a photo of you with us, especially the women, we need more men on this forum, and you are a welcome addition, indeed.
  13. But the light from the keyboard keeps the birds up at night and you have to keep it off. I wish I had permanent fingernail polish that would never rub off.
  14. But that really flashy car is attracting the police's attention and you are pulled over and issued a citation and resist so you end up in jail and your car is impounded. I wish I had a laptop computer so I could post all the time.
  15. Another fine graphic, Lovemygrey, I am jealous, but I love them.
  16. Yeah, Joe, you are a wanted man, how about that, no pressure here, make em wait, and charge Dan double.:laugh: :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:
  17. Thanks, Lovemygreys, for sharing that news with us, I am glad she is working on a solution.
  18. And help you are, and you will be rewarded for your hard work, you deserve it.
  19. I think it is commendable of Kiwibarb to want to adopt a rescue grey, not everyone is willing to take on that responsibility.
  20. Well I am glad he is better but you probably should still see a vet just to make sure, I would not want to risk it, they are too precious not to.
  21. Yes, most of us have babies, even mine at 15 months old is still a baby, and she will always be my baby, my sweet little baby grey.{Love-000200BF}
  22. Way to go Beccy, looks like you are starting off right, way better than I could with this room. I expect great things out of you and with this, you are well on your way, and I will do better where I can run my mouth, since that is what I am better at.{Emotions-0002007D}
  23. Thanks Toni for sharing that story with us, I know you cannot wait to bring Alcazar home, it has been a long time coming.
  24. But the transporter is broken so you have to spend the rest of your life without the ones you love. I wish I could be a fairy princess.
  25. Welcome to the family, Michelle, glad you joined. Oh boy another owner with a grey and a sun conure. My grey is named Josey and my sun conure is named Sunny. I just love them both. Mine don't get along too good, but if I can keep them on opposite shoulders I am ok. Thanks for posting a photo of your birds, we love photos here, can't you tell. I know you are going to love it here, and feel free to ask any questions you may have, we will do our best to get you an answer.
