Hello Doodle and welcome to the family, so glad you found us and we look forward to hearing more about you and Shaggy.
Have you had Shaggy since he was a baby? Does he talk?
You will find lots of useful information in our many threads and don't hesitate to ask any and all questions you may have and we will help you in any way we can.
Please do share some pictures of Shaggy and Scooby when you get the chance.
I can imagine you won't sleep tonight, it will be like waiting for Christmas morning, let us know when you get home with Pako and share a picture or two if you can.
Hello Tigersmom and welcome to the family, so glad you found us and we look forward to hearing more about you and Tiger.
I have a female and she is only going on 3 years old so I have no clue as to your male's behavior but we do have several knowledgeable members who might be able to shed some light on this behavior.
You will find lots of useful information in our many threads so do read thru them at your leisure and do ask questions you may have and we will help you in any way we can.
We would love to see some pictures of Tiger if you have some you would share with us.
Thats great to hear Ralph, Spencer is tolerating the harness and enjoying some fresh air.
Spencer also has a potty mouth but just ignore it for if you laugh or make any kind of reaction to it he will only do it more but I would have been hard put not to have laughed if it were me.
Continue to be patient with Spencer and he may come to enjoy being with you more as time goes by and thanks for the update on Spencer.
I can imagine how excited you are at watching your little Shady grow up and it is literally right before your eyes, you and Shady will have such a wonderful bond and relationship and thanks so much Pat for sharing him/her with us.
Caitlin, you took the words right out of my mouth, thats exactly what I would have said, like minds.
How about "Ah a little to the left now, yeah thats it"
I know you are beside yourself with excitement, soon the journey of a lifetime committment will begin, I am so excited myself that I can't wait either, hurry up and get here:whistle: :silly:
Thanks so much Dan for a nice piece about the changes we can expect in our grey's personalities, karma coming your way!
Maybe we can persuade Dave to add to this for I know he is full of additional information.
No I haven't tried that but I will for she does like warm food, how could I not have thought of it before, its like a light just went on, duh:whistle:  :pinch:
I'm glad it is the weekend as that is the only thing that gets me thru the week, those two days I can relax and do a few things I like doing.
I am looking forward to my trip in two weeks to Virginia Beach to a bird convention, there will be a bird mart where I can find lots of bird toys and other things.
I go along with what your vet said, if he is eating and playing and otherwise acting normal then don't worry about it, they give us too much to worry about as it is, don't heap on more than is necessary, enjoy the weekend, party and have a good time.
Thanks for the update Shelia, I have wondered about your Mum lately and that is scarey what happened on the operating table but I hope things go well for her. I will continue to keep her in my thoughts and prayers.
I take Josey into the shower and get her good and wet that way, I have an enclosed shower stall and even though she doesn't much care for it she will tolerate the shower. You may have to do something like that to get him wet.
Another suggestion is if you have a small travel cage you could put him into it and then take him into the shower and then finish off with some aloe vera juice, it will make the feathers soft and their skin supple.
It could be due to the lack of baths Candy as the air is drier in the winter with the heat on but he could just be molting. Are you sure he has been plucking his feathers and not just loosing them due to a molt?
Who knows maybe he did understand what you were telling him, in any case I am glad to hear it is working, hope it keeps up and I know you will let us know, wow.
