Oh wow! This is cool! 7 minutes.... Hard to do. I think I would explain the lifelong commitment, the emotional needs, the importance of being an accepted family member, their diet. Just some thoughts off the top of my head.

This is the first one I have had in 30 years, using Canola or peanut oil mostly. NEVER visit KFC, sorry Dave, too unhealthy for my taste...... Still hoping I can find out its not Teflon, it doesn't look like it, but I will be calling them later and seeing what they will tell me. My kids are concerned about the smell of the oil permeating the house....harmful? ANYONE????? .

Cute cute pictures! Talon has a sleep hut and has used it for the past 7 years, I do check it regularly. Now that she's a grown up in her mind, she prefers to sleep perched on the roof of it!

It doesn't look like Teflon, but I can't be sure.....we have been opening 2 windows, it has o temp setting, just turns on and heats to a pre set temp, but not sure what that is. I will try using a thermometer and check it. Didn't really do any research cause I thought it would be safe,but now I am worried...my mistake....my kids love it and want to deep fry everything.

I recently purchase a large Fry Daddy deep fryer. I worried the 2 times we have used it. My birds are usually in bed, cages covered whe we have used it and I open a couple of windows, (cold outside) . Do I need to worry and be concerned? Or can I relax a bit about it?

Love the picture! MY birds all all over my make-up in my bathroom, so I have to keep everything covered with towels...I think I will buy them their own brushes. They also love emery boards!

Thank you all for such greatly detailed information. But one more question, what woods are safe to use WITH the bark on, I know my birds would love to chew it off and I want to allow them that opportunity when I start adding wood to their cages, etc.

Today is Nilah's 3rd Birthday!! It has been 2 1/2 years of nothing but FUN, LOVE & AMUSEMENT from her! We (especially me) love her to pieces!! She has really bonded to me, and I love how she calls me "bird"..:cool:

Yes Judy, remember the thread I started about buying rabbit toys for our birds cause they were great for chewing and very inexpensive? Check that section of the pet store out, they have some great stuff that by birds love!!

I can't seem to find the correct thread, but somewhere i think, Ray or Jay you posted a picture of your corner bathing dish. I was wondering if it was a ferret one or a rabbit one. Was it a litter pan or water dish? I want to order one for each of my greys but want to find the same type that some of you use. Some recommendations please? Thank you!!

It was used by them, and I got it for an incredibly cheap price compared to the new ones they had on display. it didnt look used to me.. But I cant wait to see what you come up with...")

What do you mean by roots? Aren't roots unstable?

I believe it is a mazanta tree stand. I have one, and they are beautiful, easy to clean and no problems with aspergillus.
