  1. No no no! Yankee Candles are by no means safe for birds! I live about 2 miles from the flagship store, and about 3 miles from the manufacturing plant where the candles are made. The smell is very potent from the fragrance they are using that particular day, even tho they have an incredible system for filtering the smell, due to the carcinogens they emit. Some people in the area get headaches even...so NO they are not safe for birds.
  2. That's greyt! I was very young, but I do remember her and that song quite well! Thanks for getting it stuck in my head for the rest of the nite!
  3. Thank you'll so much, I have been trying to get a visual of that for so long here....thank you for finally helping me to understand the process. I haven't done a deep can on my cages for a long time as I can't get them out the doors, but i think now I will invest in a steamer to get them really clean.
  4. Could you put a towel across the bottom? Not sure I understand what happened....where he got caught.
  5. So no floor clean up after? Just cage stuff? And do you take all the toys and perches out or can you leave them?
  6. When youdo the cages, what does the walls and floor look like when you are done? Do you have a wet mess to clean up?
  7. Happy Birthday Marco! You are one lucky fellow! 2 years is a big deal and tell your parronts to get used to it...pretty soon, you will know it all once you turn three!
  8. I would go with the one time fee of purchase vs. a monthly fee...dont see the need to pay someone else .
  9. Yikes, I just saw the price......perhaps I will shop for a cheaper model...it's out of my price range!
  10. What a wonderful review, I have been the thinking of investing in a steam cleaner for a couple of years but wanted a good one. The only thing holding me back is idont understand what kind of a mess it makes. Also do you remove all the perches and toys? I have hard wood floors and am concerned about the cleanup mess.
  11. I have a few standing wireless web cam. D-Link, it cost me $99 at Best Buy over a year ago. It is very easy to set up, my birds ignore it now and the best part, it as a mobile app so I can watch them anytime I want. It only has one way sound, I didn't want 2 way because I didn't want them thinking I was how and not coming to see them, but you can get 2 way audio. My daughter also watches them on her phone as well.
  12. Happy Birthday Cricket, who's luckier, you or Your parronts?
